Premiership atmospheres are crap! The fans are fickle and most of them are either new/foriegn/prawn sandwich brigade or kids.
European nights are different because people who cant afford to go anymore buy tickets and go!

As for heinz i heard they were in talks to sponsor us last year but we chose 188bet.
If they do pull out of both clubs it could be the first steps to pulling out of wigan for good! Lets not forget that theyve recently refused to put made in wigan on the beans!

Ahh see i and other people were all under the idea that the Trust was set up primarily for the football club with 30mil and that its plan was every year it would make a small profit which could be spent on charitable donations.

Youd be surprised how attractive to businessmen a club like wigan would be. Especially if we clear the debts then are allowed again under someone else to run those debts back up, well i say debts but we all know that they are directors loans.
As for the lindsay scenario i dont think hed be able to run it down so badly however it wouldnt surprise me if he came out with “taking the club down to a level that it could better sustain itself at”
