To be fair lads the win on Tue hasn’t to be treated as some sort of turning point but more of a banana skin avoidance ! We need to win on Saturday in the league and start getting some proper points on the board ! 8pts from the last possible 30pts is a little worrying ! There will be a meet and greet in The Brick prior to kick off for some of us on here and due to the commitment of the Brick M&G some of us will only be taking our seats 5mins into the game !
I will be up in Glasgow with my hippy mates on a psychedelic bender ! Wrap up well it will be freezing !
If Sunderland have sold their allocation then all I can assume is that many Sunderland fans cant afford two games in a week because there were fuck all on against Bolton !

I’ve gone mad with travel this year.India in nine days time (mix of work and pleasure).
A week in France in Feb half term (skiing) with family.
A week in the US in April (again work mixed with a few days for myself).
Cottage in Devon during May half term with family and in laws.
Not quite a holiday, but 5 days at Glastonbury at the end of June and 3 days at Silverstone for the F1 in July.Oh yeah, and Fulham this afternoon.
Still undecided on summer hols, but quite fancy Thailand, or Japan if I’m not bankrupt by then.
There’s an outside chance I might be going to Hawaii in September (work and pleasure again).
I definitely will not be going to Antalya. I love Turkey and have been to various places there, but the fortnight me and my wife had there twenty years ago is the worst holiday we’ve ever been on. Hope it’s got better for you.

I get that Jason. It’s just that since today (and it happens on my own website too) certain words are underlined and highlighted in blue and if you hover over it, it shows you a link to an advert. For example, in GL’s post above, the word stairlift was highlighted earlier – it isn’t now, though.Just seems very coincidental that my antivirus/firewall detected and cleaned a potential threat this morning and ever since, this has been happening.
It’ll be something to do with the wife, as sure as eggs are eggs.

Too early to comment on the new boys not being included but I hope that the usual precedent will not be evident for too long !
Lets not forget the influence somebody the stature of Michael Laudrup could have in a transfer especially of a Spanish player.Someone said to him in a press conference recently ‘You played with Pep Guardiola at Barcelona…’
To which he replied “He would maybe say that he played with me”
Which is probably about right!
But did they not play better football under Brendan Rodgers than they did under RM ? In my opinion Rodgers took them up a level and Laudrup has put the icing on the cake ! I just feel that I have a valid point here ! I am not anti RM but with the Swansea comparison he does seem to have some short comings ! In other words he is not the great manager that some like to think he is !

When he signed for Swansea he’s scored 15 goals in 37 games in La Liga.
We chose to sign Kone who’d scored 15 goals in 34 games in La Liga.
Not a lot in it really and who’s to say Kone wouldn’t be doing the same now had he signed for Swansea?
Are you suggesting that Swansea are better than us Jonny ? I was thinking about this the other day and that Swansea have taken their game to the next level and are getting plenty of plaudits for it despite being no bigger a club than us.They do play a better passing game than us and can move the ball through the midfield a hell of a lot quicker than us. Their squad isn’t any better than ours and I don’t think they have more money than us to spend do they ? What RM initially instilled into them has sort of come to fruition but what happened to our progression ? Where is our fruition ? Is Rogers a better manager ? is Laudrup a better manager ? Rogers went to Liverpool, but was he second choice behind RM ? What I am trying to say is that I don’t see a great deal of difference between our players and Swansea’s yet they play the better football in my opinion and the media love them for the style they play, the style that was instilled by our very own RM ?
As a change from the usual bickering and bad vibes,where are you going to for your holidays? We like to try somewhere different each year and so this year finds us opting for Antalya Turkey.I will also be jetting out to Austin Texas for a week with my brother and some mates for a week of psychedelic music and high jinx !

Last year I went to Tunisia (Royal Kenz Hotel in Port El Kantoui) which was really nice (Providing you stay within your resort and tourist areas) Hotel was quality, to be honest all Hotels there look really nice .. This year I am wanting to go to Egypt or somewhere else that I have not yet been.. But with moving properties and what not I may just opt for a week all inclusive in Malta B)[/quote]
We aint beach people to be honest but there is one there ! We went to Tunisia a couple of years ago and that was a decent holiday where funnily enough we did use the beach a lot due to it being part of the hotel !
