Mate of mine said that they had a goal ruled out near the end as the ref said the ball hadn’t crossed the line, my mate said it did?
I just commented on a mate of mine’s Facebook status and was promptly rounded on by all his Nob End cronies giving it shit crowds, rugby town et al! They actually believe that they are still a big club!
Looks like these two gets are taking Scummy Nob End to Wembley.
But please don’t worry this strike partnership thing won’t catch on and it isnt the modern way to do things and can not possibly happen at Latics.Chesterfield had the lion’s share of possession again in the first half but have nothing to show for it! Hopefully North End will get done at Wembley, preferably with a 95th min heartbreaker! :P
One of my customers who is an Everton fan came out the other day and said ” You’re a Wigan fan aren’t you, well do you want your manager back because he is useless, I have to turn the tv off when he does post match interviews because of the fuckin rubbish he comes out with ” McCarthy and Roubles are the only good things to have come out of the whole sorry affair he said and that many of his fellow fans/mates are in agreement that the first season was a breath of fresh air because Moyes had been there too long but the honeymoon period is now well and truly over! I wonder what he made of yesterday’s performance!
You’re a bit of a betting man Phil; so why not take a tenner from your recent good fortune and put it on Bobby to be sacked by the New Year !
I think he will see out his contract but there most certainly won’t be any Champions league football! :)
Absolutely hammered out of sight last night in a debacle that had the coach nearly crying the soft bastard! I wonder how many will turn up for the Hull game next Friday night? Talking of attendances, how many were on for the Huddersfield game? There doesn’t appear to be a record of it anywhere?
Five wins on the bounce – in three of them, the opposition kept scoreless.
100% home record in the league.
Average attendance almost 14,000 in league games.
Life as a warrior isn’t too bad at the moment. ;)
Not as good as a Rhino’s life though eh! ;)
He was a decent League One/Championship striker but didn’t cut it in the Prem, simple as!
I take ityour coming back next season then filStill got an eye on things but Hell yeah I’ll be there, some of us JCL’s are still hanging in there! ;)

Watching Chesterfield tonight sent a shiver down my spine as I thought to myself ” Fuckin hell, that is going to be us next season” !
Just fishing Fil?Ha ha ha ! No seriously a mate of mine who is sort of in the know with a lot of Rovers stuff messaged me last night to ask if Perch was any good as the club are looking at him? He has been right about stuff before and so I thought I would ask if anyone had heard anything! Not sure if Perch is one of the players earmarked to stay or not but I for one would like him to stay! As for the transfer embargo, I thought that was just until the end of this season gone?
Letting lads like this go, is where we went wrong. Malky said we needed triers, this mon picks up another award from another club, yet we let him go there on loan. Crazy.Me and the lad I go on with both agreed that Tavernier looked a decent player and that he would have been a great asset especially with Boyce not getting any younger, yet we were left baffled and bemused by the decision to send him out on loan? Can anyone offer any explanation? One of many baffling and downright idiotic decisions that were made last season!!
I drink champagne occasionally and have pristine gardens to the front and rear of my house but I don’t vote!
Are the kids still off school? Is there no such thing as the internet or telephone system in Wigan?
I’ve never met Fil but I’m sure him being on the pitch would be an improvement to what I have been watching.
On another note, I can remember an Owd Git posting all our problems were over, when all of our ‘stars’ left the club, did that change anything?
I can also remember another poster behaving like a complete bell end towards anybody that didn’t live in his cul de sac, that definitely hasn’t changed. Hopefully he’s back to being busy again.Well I did play to a pretty high standard back in my youth, many thought I was better than Simon Farnworth but it was he who went onto better things! I have no regrets though!
Be careful Tez as thowd mon will zap you with his latin quotes gun! :)
Here’s another quote for you Fil: “Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups”
George Carlin
You mean ‘Numquam virtutis minoris catervatim stultis’ ! ;)
These grounds were shite first time round and I can’t see things improving while we’ve been away.
You want your head seeing to if your happy to watch “hoof!” football. It’s a sad day to see us drop down to a Division I thought I’d not see again in my life time and if Gaz doesn’t clear out the backroom staff as well as some players then Div2 won’t be that far away and then you can be twice as happy.
Get Boyce in as player/assistant managerLike I have said many times before, there are some fans who hanker for those lower league days, sad but true!
