Let’ us see if he can sustain his lucky start from the team he inherited from moyes over a prolonged period, I await the FAT LAD & his witty retort :)
We’ve been short of ridiculous comments recently.
Keep ’em coming! On to 800!
I agree with The Torch, Roberto is just a one season wonder. Just a pity he couldn’t manage at least one good season out of four for Wigan.
I don’t think that will come as the most surprising news this board has ever heard. Paddling in the same gene pool.
Been there a few times, but usually go to Ashton Town, Ashton Athletic, St Helens Town (at Ashton) or Robin Park, but they were all away.
There’s also Prescot (Prescot Cables and AFC Liverpool), Skem, Warrington and Burscough. Loads of options.
Are Chorley not currently the highest ranked out of your aforementioned and top of their division ?
Ah, then he would be accused of glory hunting.
But that is how teams attract new fans or neutrals ! I am pretty sure that Chorley will be getting more on at home games now than if they were say mid table !
How many of the 849 at the game yesterday do you think were glory hunters?
And how many stayed right until the end and how many knobbed off with about ten minutes to go?
On the thread subject, you appear to have omitted my factual reply regarding average attendances at Chorley ! Totally off subject, try and concentrate on what is happening on the pitch Griff rather than getting yourself all worked up by what other fans are doing ! :S
Not remotely worked up, I just have a low tolerance for certain classes of people. Besides which, I am very adept at multi-tasking so, if I chose to, I could quite easily concentrate on both the match and getting “worked up” at other fans simultaneously.
What class are people who leave a football match early?
Dunce’s class, obviously ;) Don’t you read my stuff
Now talking of senility, it is you who is displaying early onset demetia for it I who started with the “adding to character traits” – take a look at the “Can you settle a difference” thread, post 125690. So away you go and copy my prose eh? Just goes to show that you are not even original.
Not really, you silly old twerp – it’s called responding. That’s what happens in a debate. That, and you making yourself look silly.
Aye, alright lad. I’m not disputing the fact that you have achieved the above – now hurry up and make a doctors appointment (no seriously)
Seriously cock, this forum was just about getting back on its feet. You’re the only one consistently acting the prock now. Some of us know how to do banter and how to make it mildly amusing and when to stop. You’re adding nothing. Even your insults are bobbins. Not arsed with you anymore, much better things to do.

I don’t normally read any tripe you put onto here …
But that is patently not true, is it? Not only do you read it, Grandad, you give yourself a coronary responding to it while everyone laughs at you.
So, as well as old, obsessed and dull, we can add liar – at worst – or senile – at best – to your rather unimpressive list of character traits.
Everyone laughs at me? Take a look in the mirror lad and wipe that face paint from your face. As for having a coronary reading the shite you post; as I have said before it is you with the high stress levels, and weight problem who should be worried about coronary problems (how many chins do you actually want) and those black Uncle Fester eyes you display (in that picture of the three of you) shows that you have serious fatigue and stress problems (probably brought on by the tittering behind your back – is everything ok at home lad?).

Now LET ME add Plagiarist to your ever increasing list of character traits – Now this is shocking because as a plagiarist no one can believe that the book you have written is all your own work, indeed I bet you have copied most of it from unpublished works and passed it on as your own. That would then bring thief into your big box of traits.
I hear the sound of a drowning man, lost up his own backside with his ivory tower collapsing around him and splashing into the water around him.
Blub blub blub blub
Blub blub blub!! What the fuck is that, or did your gandson take over at that point?!
Would it help if I granted you and The Torch a private audience? It might ease your obsession. I can pass on my diet tips, if nothing else.

who the fck are Dulham ?enterprise
They’re just above Blunderland and Baa-diff in the league – quite pathetic really, what grown men will write.

I flagged for late on when the guy was clean through on goal was wrong but I’m never wrong!!
Are related to griff.
Good use of England, there! ;)
Because Arsenal appealed and were successful. The red card was rescinded.

A false argument. You met one person. How many English fans have heard of Levante or Elche? Or Chievo or Sassuolo? There will be large numbers of foreign football fans who just support “their team” who have not heard of us.
BUT – equally there will be lots around the world who have, because of having been in the Premier League, and that was the original point.
Er, it wasn’t an argument, just a reply to his question. Understand there will be as many who have heard of us as there is who have not. This guy and his son knew a fair bit about the prem, but mainly the bigger clubs.
Nail on the head for me Jimmy, Utd and Liverpool are global brands and sell the Premier League along with maybe a few more clubs. I wonder if a European Super League was born and our big clubs left the PL, how many countries would still show an interest?. Fans in places like China want to see United, Liverpool etc not the rest of the clubs in the league. Its the big boys not the division that is the attraction.
That wasn’t quite the question though, was it? The original question was about whether people around the world knew about Wigan because of them being in the Premier League or winning the FA Cup. I used to travel the world with work and not one person had heard of Wigan pre-2005 but once we were in the Premier League everywhere I went they had heard of us. (Except Bulgaria, for some reason. The guys there hadn’t heard of us at all. But then again, I hadn’t heard of Varna before I had to go there.)
I suspect that even more now know about us because of the FA Cup win, but to say we weren’t known around the world from our time in the Prem is just wrong. Oh, and my sample was much bigger than JimmyC’s holiday Athetico fan ;)
Or maybe he thought Powell was being a lazy git and macca was having one, pretty sensible subs in my view. Fortune to hold it up and use mclean pace on the break
I’d have taken Powell off much earlier – and not bothered bringing anybody on in his place. Arrogant, lazy twat
You talking about yourself again ?
Stop it, you’re just too funny for me

Fat lad replying again, predictable ! :)
Would you like me to ring you when I’m logging on then you can plan your day more easily?

Disagree. The performance dipped after he and Callum went off.
Callum is the only player we have who can beat one or two players.McLean would struggle to beat an egg.Fortune couldn’t score in a brothel to complete the cliches. ;)
You may think Powell is lazy and arrogant but he can display a touch of class – the goal last Saturday at Bolton illustrates that.
We’ll need some more of that in the next few matches.
He can, but today he was nowhere near it.
