I met a Sunderland fan once. He had aspergers.
Subsequently, I’ve yet to find any evidence to disprove my hypothesis that all Sunderland fans have aspergers.
do all wigan supporters think like this ? can you get the other 5 fans just to clarify?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wigan_Athletic_F.C.
”Wigan’s current spell in the Premier League is the only top flight run in the club’s history” :)
anyway do you lot really want to talk about attendances?
http://www.wiganlatics.co.uk/page/DivisionalAttendance/
wigan=small club, little ambition, tiny & shared stadium, whale pitch, deluded fans
0-4 v blackpool, yes thats right thumped by blackpool
9-1 v tottenham
i should thank you for our annual 6 points from you this season 8-)
dazza bee gonna turn you over aswell, 24 league goals last season, you got anyone that can come near that? nnannannanaan nana

Did we not take 4 points of you last season?????
So fook of back to your small town in Newcastle you boring tw*t.
Wigan Athletic chairman Dave Whelan has asked the clubs supporters to get behind both the team and the manager ahead of Saturdays clash against Chelsea. The Latics made the worst possible start to the season last weekend when newly promoted Blackpool put 4 goals past Chris Kirkland and left the home fans at the DW Stadium in a state of shock as they had hoped for a positive start to the campaign.
Once again a section of supporters at the club have started to turn on manager Roberto Martinez and have been calling for his head to roll for most of the past week, but is that the answer?
It is obvious that certain supporters and indeed certain members of the local press have had the knives out for Martinez since he arrived at the club and they actual seem to revel in the big defeats and poor performances that have occurred over the past twelve months, what their reasons or motives are I have no idea.
It is fair to say though that the Latics were truly shocking last week, they appeared to be caught cold by a Blackpool side that were full of vigour, direct and certainly got amongst the play to unsettle the Wigan players on the ball, but it was the first game of the season and these things have a habit of happening.
Last year we went to Villa Park on the opening day and played Aston Villa off the pitch to get a fantastic start to the season, Everton were absolutely dreadful as they fell 6-1 to Arsenal at Goodison Park, so it isn`t unheard of for a shock result coupled with a poor performance.
Now Latics owner Dave Whelan is asking for the supporters to get behind the boss and help the Latics bounce back, Whelan said: “Calling for the manager to be sacked doesn`t really help anybody”
“We are in this together. I`m hoping we can bounce back but the Blackpool defeat didn`t really surprise me.”
What planet is this idiot on???? To say he wasn’t surprised by the Blackpool defeat when the rest of Wigan and football fans in general were gob smacked.
This w*nker wants us to get behind the team???? He should give us a team and manager worth getting behind before it’s to late.
Roberto has to go but Roy Keane?
FFS the guy is one of the worst managers ever he spent a fortune at Sunderland and still nearly took them down. If he comes we will defo be going to Leeds and Doncaster next year.
Than turn to a certain Dutchman who is a legend at our club and ask him to sort out the back four and knock them into shape because he himself seems incapable of doing this come on bob give @rry a bell :DGood shout but the way the defence played Saturday Harry would still get a game!!!!!
Standish all the points you raised are correct but are also the reasons we are loosing support and quickly becoming a laughing stock in the Premier League. We have a clueless manager and a team that on Saturday and for most of last season was a joke.Hardly surprising our attendances are dropping.
And just for the record I and I’m sure alot of other people would willingly pay more for a season ticket and see a decent team than be the cheapest in the league and watch this shoite.
Nottslaticn
No income from the lack of money through the turn-tiles. Turnout on Saturday was an embarrassment. Can’t blame DW for the lack of interest from the people of Wigan[/quot
Imo DW is to blame for the lack of interest from the people of Wigan. Since we got promoted we have sold all our best players and continue to do so. After 6 seasons in the Premier League we are in a worse position team wise than when we came up.Times are hard and people wont spend money to watch the rubbish we are turning out, you could let them in for free but if we loose every week they still wont go.
Bob was appointed by Whelan so he has to take responsibility for the shambles on Saturday. Come on Dave do the decent thing and sack this clown before we are getting less than 10k
I don’t see thebenefit of selling Bramble for a million, our best defender and didn’t ever look for a move away. The lad was an asset to us.Exactly, not the worlds best but 20 times better than what were left with. Our defence on Saturday was an absolute shambles.
If we play like we did against Dundee United every week, we’re safe for sure.Dundee United, are you taking the urine????? Since when has beating them in a pre season friendly been the bench mark for a successful Premier League season
What happened to him on Saturday? Was he injured? No just like the rest of them absolute shoite.
latics lost 4-0 to blackpool, chelsea scored six
what will chelsea win by next week 7-0 or greater
wigan town will always be redFook off you kn*b your shoite get less fans than us so what do you base your arguement on????
It should have been sevenAnd if it had been we would have had no complaints.
You have to remember Whelans business model, is to sell to survive. Dont think we have made a lot in terms of player sales this year (yet….)I wouldnt sell him to Brum, Sunderland or Sjoke as they are rivals. Sell him to Juve for £10m and be done.
When you consider what other players go for why only £10m? Imo he is worth more than that and we should not be selling on the cheap.
Why do the club need to comment, Sky are just speculating….if they comment on “SSN understands etc” they might as well comment on every mention of WAFC in the press. If and when Sky say a transfer request HAS been submitted, then they can be expected to comment.Spot on about Hindley Blue….if Charlie has no intention of asking for a move, why boo him just because of SSN? Still I’ve no doubt some of our idiot supporters will boo him at every chance tomorrow on the basis of a yellow bar on their TV
Where in my post did I mention booing Charlie??????? All I did was post on a report on Sky sports news. And if he does hand in a transfer request I stand by everything I said.
I really want him to stay as I think he is our best player and as long as he stays and pulls his tripe out for the cause he will get my backing 100%.
It just shows you can’t even buy an average player without being quoted stupid money. I hope Mr Whelan is watching what is going on and demands IMO 15million or tell them to fook off. He is under contract and according to Mr Whelan we do not need to sell so make old spud head or whoever wants him pay through the nose.
When he played against us for Middlesbrough he ripped us a part would be a great signing.I think he would be a great signing for us and would chip in with a fair number of goals. :D :D :D
