I’m sorry but Sulzeer no longer cuts the Prem mustard. There were times last season when he was horribly exposed.The fact that he’s gone to Notts County , when a couple of Prem teams were rumoured to be in for him , suggests that Campbell knows that himself.
He will do an excellent job in that league, but will struggle if they do get future promotions as he is getting on a bit now.

I checked the flights on Expedia today, and it was priced in dollars when I looked, and was like $1,700 for a return flight. What’s that in £’s? Something like 8 or 900 quid? Or could include it as part of a longer holiday. Internal flight a piece of p i s s from places such as NYC and Vegas. And probably be cheaper. Stay in places like Day’s Inn’s, which are great value, and your laughin.I think that might be a touch too ‘Costly’

Bristol City chairman Steve Lansdown insists Wigan have not made a bid for midfielder Marvin Elliott.Reports over the weekend suggested Wigan were lining up a swoop for the former Millwall man.
However, City have moved quickly to dismiss the rumours and Lansdown says there have been no offers for any players at Ashton Gate.
“Newspapers are always speculating about players and that’s all this is. I’ve certainly not heard anything from Wigan,” Lansdown told the Bristol Evening Post.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if Premier League clubs started looking at some of our players towards the end of the transfer window, because that is what happens.
“But there are no offers in for any of our players at the moment and we hope that’s the way things will stay.”

I have also read that if we buy Moses for £4M he will be loaned back for the season.Think his sister still has a stall on the market. I believe her attitude is “he’s welcome to all his money”.Doesn’t mean they don’t get on though. The only frustration for me, is we sell players for millions and don’t re-invest in quality, proven, signings. Eventually, we will pay the price. Part of me is already partly wishing Roberto and co had NOT come back, simply because it will be a shame if he’s a failure, more so to having to do things on the cheap, than anything.

I know Horc doesn’t rate Valencia, but a five-man midfield of McCulloch Palacios, Cattermole, Bullard and Valencia would be as good as any in the division.All academic now, of course. Still at least there must be loads in that war chest by now…
