James C, there is no use saying play 2 up front, it will not happen.
No they werent taking the p*ss we were punished for some very sloppy defending, but we were in the game.Didn’t say we were taking the piss. I reckon if the ref gives a foul for the 1st goal and we dont concede. We go on to win the game. Also I think if he doesn’t give the penalty, we get a point at least.

Kirkland is a fine keeper, I would possibly like him to come to claim the ball slightly more but in general he’s decent. You James and Kitt Green Dave are blaming Kirkland for shots he could do nothing about.[/quote]
I’m not sayin he could do anything about them. He is just awful in general and his positioning is bad.
My mate is a Bolton season ticket holder and he drove me and my mate down to the game today so we could have a few drinks. To be honest he said the same thing about us being the better team and thought we knocked it about quite well. He had one massive criticism and said that our team were shot shy and that we were in good positions and failed to shoot. He like every other person in the ground saw that we had a definate penalty not awarded but hey what can you do. I stayed till the bitter end(basically because i was getting a lift from the Boltoner who was loving it.)

I know i am going to get stick over this but i last Saturday night after a few sherberts i ended up on the internet ordering a Vuvezela. Its arrived today and bloody hell does it make some noise.I think that all the east stand massive should purchase one and make the Vuvezela the sound of NewSpringield.
For once lets be 2 months ahead of everybody else and let other sets of fans pinch the idea of us becuase after the World Cup i wouldnt be surprised if as a few sets of fans start using them.
It will be making its debut against Villa on Tuesday night.
I for one think it would be a great idea to have a few of these at home matches. It would certainly get some much needed noise into the stadium and would be unique.

…and I really need cheering up.Got a call last night (Wed 10 March) to say that one of my friends had been killed in a car crash on the Rainford Bypass. Devestating news. I was sick to the stomach.
He won’t mean anything to people on here, but his name is Steven Mitchell, and he was a very popular person in Old Skem. A lovely bloke. He worked as a DJ in the local area, and was very popular at Weddings, etc. He was a tireless charity worker, and only last week did 2 charity events, both for Haiti, and Help For Heroes. A nicer bloke you could not wish to meet. Honestly. Always smiling, and not an enemy to his name. A gentle giant of a bloke who would do anything for anybody. Skem has been rocked by this.
He was only 34, and leaves a young girlfriend, and a devastated family. ‘Mitch’, as he was known, was a madly fanatical Everton fan, and went all over the place to watch them. I only spoke to him on Tuesday, about our win over Liverpool. His last Facebook status was saying he was sorry to hear Chester City are no more. An hour or two later, he was killed. His car was in a collision with a tractor trailer, on the Rainford Bypass. He died instantly, we believe.
I, like many others, can’t get my head around it yet. Stunned, totally stunned. I am finding things that concerned me a few days ago, ever so trivial at the moment. Really feeling down. I think I am only posting this on here as a relief. Sorry.
