I can’t see what the problem is here. Last night (for the fuzzy bits of match I did see online) we didn’t look too bad, first half (according to commentator) we looked shaky but after that, we had possession, control and dominated periods of the second half. Blackburn are a bit of a bogey team for us at Ewood Park…
We still have issues at the back which is obvious. From Bob’s comments, it looks like Figgs is being pulled all over the shop due to his agent and Bruce (the same one who said Liverpool unsettling Jones is disgusting!) and Mario out.
Loudmouth – with your extensive knowledge of the game, in five steps, how would you resolve the situation and make us a top 10 side??
Hmmm – the daily mail publishes a story just after midnight saying Figgs is going on strike because he couldn’t sort out his future on Tuesday??
Nobody else is reporting it so unless a Daily Mail reporter took the time out to come to Wigan and spend a day with Figgs or Bob then I would dismiss this as a junior reporter trying to get some sort of story out into the paper.
In all fairness, Toxteth is a good night out if you are going in places like the Great Eastern and all the other old pubs….possibly only one of a few areas where you can get Killkenny on draft (and at about £1.80 a pint)
