Think Byrne is great going forward, but lacks presence defensively.
For a nil nil it was one of the more interesting ones. Thought Dunkley had a good game today. He could be one to watch for the future.
Frustrating game today I thought. We just don’t seem to be playing with any fluidity up front. Everything goes wide, and then sideways or backwards.
Think Toni needs a rest as I’m not sure he’s up to it. More I see of him the less he impresses. For a big bloke he tends to fall over a lot and looks for the foul rather than going for goal.
Towards the end of the game thought we should have shot from distance a bit more. They had the wind behind them and should have used it to their advantage.
That was some “minor” glitch, unbelievable really isn’t it. A rugby union & cricketer celebs drawing the balls too?
Funny how the team that draws the biggest TV audience has the easiest draw? Hope Bristol do knock them out.

Well most of our regular starting eleven were last year’s squad and didn’t do that well last season so could they fare better next season?True but as a club we were a mess last season donny. That side should never have gone down and cooky has got spirits up, he’s got a style of play which every player knows what his job is. That’s why I think we’ll be ok next season

Lets worry about that next season roy. Team spirit counts for a lot and I reckon we will do ok in the Championship next season.

That said thought we started slow today. A lot of slow build up in the first half and Southend had the better clear cut chances. But they were crap so we were never really in any danger.
