Don’t think he should be first choice pen taker from now. His run up is too slow and predictable, I’m not confident when he steps up.
Bet you didn’t think this at the etihad rid you?
I did actually Lowey… And was mighty relieved when it went in.
Taking a penalty is not as easy as some think, which is why i prefer them to be hit with a bit of force. That was not a good pen by Jordi and it was an easy save for Bogdan. I’m not saying Jordi is rubbish (like the title suggests) just that we should try another.Don’t think he should be first choice pen taker from now. His run up is too slow and predictable, I’m not confident when he steps up.
Looking at buying tickets for the Trotters match but the website says the upper tier ones have restricted view. Anyone know how restricted these are?I bought some yesterday and was told the same thing. She said I would have a handrail in front of me? Not really restricted view she said but that she had to mention it?
So still none the wiser, but can’t see it being too bad a view.I think 22k for us is fine, we only took about 20k to last years semi.
How many season ticket holders are there this season?
Between 9 & 10k at a guess. Hence the guarantee of 2 tickets per ST holder…still be 4-5k min left over for general sale.
I can’t go on Sunday next week anyway due to family commitments….so quite happy to log on Monday 9am B)
What’s the plans for where to sit for those who’ve been to all 3 visits? Do you stay in the same area or move around the ground? We’ve been in 105 (Semi), 503 (final), 103 (CS). 541 also on “another visit” last year…
Quite fancy the upper tier behind the goal this time…
Went upper tier for both semi & final last year, great view, no complaints. Will go for the upper again this time, hence the dilemma to queue on first day or not.
Can’t see anyone taking a punt on him yet. Martinez had a much better reputation prior to him coming to the club and though the turnaround has been impressive he has inherited a good squad of players. Would take at least another couple of seasons with us in the Prem to be offered a job worth leaving for. Still. If his current contract is due to end in 14 months might be an idea to get him to extend!I reckon bob just might have inherited a better side? I know we were in the prem so opposition was harder, but still think Uwe is a better manager. Maybe he is not as nice a guy as Bob, but he possesses tactics and attacking football ideas.
There is no ‘I’ in team, but if u look closely there is a me :)
With our current form we are more than capable of catching Burnley. We just need them to drop points. They are also in good form and have an easier run in than us, so we could end up third?
You never know, come mid April they could be looking over their shoulders and if the pressure takes hold…. Anything could happen? We as in mates etc…
We’ve debated this for a while now. Reckon he will get us up this season, keep us up next season and then move on :(
I think 22k for us is fine, we only took about 20k to last years semi.
Bloody ‘ell I was going to book it on the net after last year, now it looks like I`ll have to queue at daft o’clock, I see Arsenal have got 42,882 :(Was going to leave mine till the Monday, let the rush go. But looking at the plan I reckon the cheap seats will go on the first day? I am trying to remember how many tickets the club said we sold on the first day so sales last year. Was it 10k?
Great little clip, thanks for the link.
Let’s hope they have to make another one :)Wigan Athletic’s 2-1 win over Manchester City in the FA Cup quarter-finals last Sunday has earned Uwe Rosler’s side the performance of the week award for the second time in eight days.
The Latics’ 4-1 win over Nottingham Forest won them the award a week earlier and the LMA, whose panel decide the winners, describe the consecutive wins as “an extremely rare feat”.
I wonder if Uwe signs books? I bet he’d sign it better than that Spanish prick we used to have as a manager
Talking about books, is your new one out soon, I need some prizes for the Josephs Goal walk to Bolton and the raffle on our Wembley buses(donated by the way).
Just think a Chris Griffin first edition signed by the latest ‘bright upcoming manager’ we have had, it could be worth a fortune in the future.
You may even get a new ‘facebook photo’ on the pitch out of it as well.
LMB, are you looking for items to raffle? Would a signed latics ball from 90’s be of any interest?
Try this, type into Google – FA Cup C
There is even a link that appears with the title of “News For FA Cup Champions”
Thought some might be interested in this
It does, and the only website that features ‘FA Cup Champions’ is an Asian beting site.
Even one of the City forums picked up on it:
http://kingkippax.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/i-dont-like-mondays.html%5B/quote%5D
The one that came up for me was about Man U not making Europe. The point was that the phrase appears on google… I agree with most that it ain’t right, but this contentious song is here to stay I think, we’ll until may anyway.
That’s hardly a surprise. There isn’t a single mention of FA Cup Champions on the first page.
There was, you must hVe typed ‘W’
