Latics will also be without Nick Powell and Callum McManaman for tomorrow’s trip to Nottingham Forest.
“Nick and Callum are not yet back with the group,” Rosler said. “But we are hopeful they will be back before long.”
Didn’t need either of them in the end, but sure I saw Callum on the pitch at half time warming up?
Great result, hitting form big time now and can’t wait for city. One negative today, Bo had a poor game.
Reckon we’ll beat Forest, it will be a close encounter but 3points coming to Wigan. Our away form is turning into a strong point. Now who would have thought that a month or so ago.
Think you might be right with that but what we must guard against is going into the game overly confident and taking our eye off the ball, so to speak. We did it at Brighton, but it wasn’t pretty. For me I’d take a good defensive performance whilst hitting them on the break with pace. A scrappy 1-0 to us would do and keep that confidence riding into the next set of games.
Very true, but if you read what the forest fans are saying then it’s already game over for them. Bemoaning their luck about injuries, terrible :)
We`ll still out sing 30,000 manc`s with WE ARE THE FA CUP CHAMPIONS (oops not going there). :woohoo:Oh no, not two threads of banter, arguing, winding up… whatever it is called… Ssshhh
Hasn’t there been something on these lines applicable to the premier league for years but it has gone unenforced. So what difference does it make.Anyway without the premier league parachute we would be in the same if not worse boat than those championship clubs mentioned in the article. If we don’t go up this time DW best get himself signed up with Brabners as well.
Was going to say exactly the same. Life outside the prem should be fine for approx 2yrs. then when the money dramatically reduces we will be in the same boat.
Until they introduce some kind of salary cap then most clubs going for promotion to the prem will end up in debt. And god help them as for all the millions the prem generates it seems nearly all clubs debt gets worse once there!?
I went down at half 8 this morning and there were only 6 people there. By the time i left there were about 50 or so. I believe weve been given about 4500,2500 in the lower and 2000 in the upper. The upper will go on sale if and when the lower sells out.
Got mine tonight on way home, row B top tier, girl said they had only just begun selling the top tier.
Same as, picked up late on today and only top tier left, row G so should be good seats. First time at the etihad so looking forward to it.

Was goning to go down first thing this morning but thought better of it. Will go later when rush should have died down..
You know what im really enjoying it in this league winning regularly. Not since PJ,s tenure do we now expect to win games. In the Prem you hope to win but don’t and become miserable. Uwe has brought the feel good factor back and you can bet that the teams who still have to play us will be more than apprehensive. Im not even sure I will be too upset if we don’t make it. Winning in the Championship is a much better feeling than losing in the Prem. Just off for my tin hat.In Uwe we trust ;)
Dito NL, makes a big difference going to the game with expectations of a win. Wouldn’t bother me if we didn’t go up , but I think we just might?
That said, we do owe all of what we now have to the prem and its money.Have Leicester not gone unbeaten and are top?.I hope Uwe wins it for March.Correct, but they have drawn two, so Uwe is slightly ahead. Pearson can wait but he won’t win it in March cos Uwe will get it again :)…
I don’t have a problem with the amount of money a player can earn, fair play to them if they can get it (no pun intended).
What does it for me is the ridiculous admission prices the supporters have to pay & the crippling debt that most clubs run up, mostly down to players wages. Rather than put a cap on wages the clubs bleed the supporters dry with ridiculously high admission prices. Most prem players do not posses a talent worthy of the wages they get. The prem is full of over paid average players. The win was Never in doubt, but the change in formation towards the end of the game seemed to changes things in Brightons favour.
With Forrest getting tonked at Burnley that might work in our favour next week? A win just might be on the cards :)Great Price!

We really should sell out at that price
Not sure how many tickets we have been given, heard 3k & 6k? Don’t think we’ll sell 6k but should be able to take 4-5k, you would hope anyway. I can’t wait, would be great if we upset the form book again :)
We are one of half a dozen teams competing for sixth place. It’s going to be very tense from now until the end of the season. Whether it will be as tense as our relegation battles, I don’t know.
And, once more, there is the FA Cup. I am looking forward to the trip to the Etihad though, realistically, we shouldn’t expect to go beyond the next round.
It will be tense and equally as enjoyable as any of our relegation scraps, i feel. We have improved since Uwe took over and i would think we can carry this good run on. This weekend has some top half teams playing each other which will be interesting see how they go. Plenty of twists and turns ahead, and one of them above us will go on a bad run.
As for City, on paper we don’t stand a chance, but you never know?
Leicester have gone 12 Championship games without defeat. The last team to beat them was Brighton!Derby have scored more goals, but Leicester have the best goal difference.
It’s a nailed on win then, we beat Derby, & stopped them from scoring
