Gomez is a good player who can certainly pick a pass, better than any in our current squad. But this article does big him up a bit too much in my opinion. Most of the times he gets caught in possession is because he is dilly dallying and not because other players can’t spot the pass. He just needs that second gear adding to his game and then this article would be more accurate.
The stick he gets from most of our fans is wrong and I couldn’t blame him for leaving us, I would have a long time ago.If he does stay, let’s hope he plays a bit better than he has been lately. Looked a bit uninterested yesterday!
I presume you didn’t go then, if you did you must have been asleep.
Pectoral.
I did actually, and there were a few times in the game where I thought he didn’t show much enthusiasm. Looked like he wanted to go off at one point, took a bump to his back which didn’t look all that bad? But sat on the floor for while rubbing it?

Not long JR, by end of jan I reckon. Top two uwe might have sounded a better title though :)
Interesting one – Derby will expect to tonk us after that debacle in November and I’m sure our players will be up for this one. Most championship teams even those in form have a wobble at some point and I have a sneaky feeling for this one.
Worked out just as I thought they turned up thinking it would be a coast and how wrong they were -our lads looked very well organised and jean scored a superb goal at just the right time.
they had a couple of chances but to be honest we could have won the game more comfortably and things are starting to get exciting with the way uwe has got them playing.
I think the win was more to do with uwe tic tacs. Packed the midfield with workers and stopped them from playing their game. When he took roger off for macca that seemed to open the game up a bit more and derby looked more threatening. We could have a future top manager at our club?
close game today but what a Great 3 points. Even more brilliant, how good was Bo’s goal :)
All the very best JR.
Cheers!I think relegated clubs get 16m for the first two seasons after relegation and then that drops to about 8m the two seasons after that. Bolton lost 50m last year so with the parachute payment dropping next season things will only worsen for them….. Just a matter of time me thinks :)
Why have you left so early.?Gravel bottom
Because I always arrive early… So I am told anyway!
Club have released this today.
looking good.
I think so Edinburgh, surprised at how much we turnover though. Not bad for a small club :)
Things could be worse, much worse !http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/wanderers/wanderersnews/10905726._/
Now that it a debt… Just a matter of time before they go to the wall?
Sold 900 of the allocation we was given but we can also pay on the dayWas wondering how many tickets we had sold for this game. Make that 903 now as decided to go myself last minute…… Hope I don’t regret it!
Powell has been a god send for us and without him we could quite possibly be in the relegation zone? He will probably look 10 times the player he is now if he goes to a prem club with better players around him.
I can only think that the climate change is a major factor in feeding habits.Do you believe in moon phases?
I might tie some bottoms tomorrow.
Single red and white.
I think I do sir, but not to get moon phase and electrical phase mixed up?
Bob – spot on. The only midfielder (Gomez) who looked capable (as versus Brum’) of unlocking the Burnley defence. Notice how the likes of Ramis etc. continually sought him out today ….Don’t understand UR substitutions : Gomez – our only creative midfielder off – Roger ‘headless’ Expinoza on ??? As for McClean (Fortune) .. well..(flatters to deceive)!
Half-time : For me, McCann ought to have been off, Callum Mc put up front, alongside Fortune (subbed for Holt – 65/70 mins.), with Nick Powell dropping back to central midfield (pushing forward); Second half very poor today – wouldn’t have scored in a month of Sundays – January transfer window – ‘mobile’ striker, plus decent midfielder.
Got to say that i was a little surprised to see Gomez taken off. I can only think that Uwe is giving all the players a chance to see what they can do. He can then see what & how many he needs in the January window?
