I renewed online no problem but my mate couldn’t do it on his phone. I think its something to do with the Java script. I did he’s on my phone, took literally a couple of minutes.

The point your missing is he is a free signing. No different to paying £5-600k on a player and giving him £4k a week. He’s only 28 so his value will still be there for a few years to come.
We are talking about billionaire’s and questioning if they know what they’re doing.

Wyke is a fantastic bit of business. He has a current market value of £2m and we’ve got him for nowt. We have signed him on a 3 year deal so will potentially cost us £1.5m in wages during that period, all the time being an asset for £2m. These lads know what they are doing.

That’s exactly what’s happened NL we’ve passed the ball sideways and backwards too many times. The commentator said it was a high tempo game, couldn’t stop laughing. We need to get Grealish on and replace Harry Kane with Calvert- Lewin. As usual and awful performance but the Germans are there for the taking.

I didnt think you’d have the balls to put your money where your mouth (or keyboard) is. Your suggestion that Power has a better chance of returning to the Championship with Wigan is based on what exactly?

OK so you’ve chickened out of that bet sunshine. I still think we will get to the championship before Sunderland and for the reasons I have said in my original post. They will continue to buy poor players and like they did with Grigg buy players for far more than they are worth. A constant change in management will continue and the hoards of fans will return to the stadium and get on the teams backs when they go 1-0 down to the likes of Rochdale and dare I say it …Wigan Athletic. I bet the players and management are the only ones in the football league who would prefer to play in an empty stadium.
Enough reasons there for you Mutty? and I would say the same if I was standing face to face with you. The club is a total train wreck and not been through Administration or anything approaching what we’ve been through so you explain why that is. I still say we will get out this league before you, so take my offer of the “see who improves more this coming season” then when you’ve paid out on that we will double the bet to £40 on who will reach the championship first. Over to you keyboard warrior and prize numpty.

A big welcome home Max bet you couldn’t wait to get away from that shower of Shyte. Coming to Wigan gives you another chance of playing in the championship again, cos that MASSIVE club you’ve festered at for the past 3 years will never get out of L1.

My £20 says Sunderland will finish higher than Wigan. Are you happy to wager £20 that Wigan will finish above Sunderland in 21/22 then JR?

What about £20 bet on the team that finishes the most places higher than they did last season. A fair bet to see which team has progressed more, although it is impossible for us to do better than whack you at home and away again. Over to you buddy.

Big time charlies who think they should be top of the premier league. You always were a good honest hard working player and wasn’t surprised that you’ve been one of the best Sunderland players for the 3 seasons you’ve been there. No doubt their childish fans will have a go at you now you’ve left. Just hope it won’t take long to iron out 3 years of poor management, poor coaching, having the mentality that your a massive club and have won games before you kick off etc. We gave Sunderland a good bashing last season with a team of kids and has beens, so don’t worry, with the quality players we are bringing in and already have, your on a winner buddy. You know that us Latics fans appreciate players giving 100% every game and will applaud you for that win or lose.

Welcome home to a proper club, the fact that you was released demonstrates that Sunderland havent a fookin clue and no doubt they will give the poisoned chalice to another 2-3 managers this season when once again they under achieve. Keeps us all amused I suppose. 😂

Im sorry but all I heard was pundits saying they did not condone any forms of violence, criminal damage etc.
The point they were trying to make was the actions of the few should not distract from what the protest was all about.
If Stanley Choi decided to visit the DW to explain the reasons he put us into administration there would be mass demonstrations by us Tics fans venting our anger for what he’s done to our club. I would also guarantee that some pissed up dickheads would torch his car. Every club has them. Would we be happy if the EFL docked us points again due to the actions of a few morons. Fair play to United fans for protesting and standing up to owners who have tried to sell the heart and soul of their club.

Its probably the worst football Game I’ve seen for many a season but one of the most satisfying of results too.
The conditions didn’t help and the fact that both teams are fighting for their lives meant it was never going to be a classic.
For the first time for a while the defense looked strong even with a rooky left back and a couple of players playing only their second games.
If they continue to keep things tight at the back the results will come. I always feel that we need to score at least 3-4 to win a game, that’s been our problem all season.

At an average of 1.5 goals per season for the past 8 years, I don’t think he’s going to be out 20 goal or even 10 goal a season striker.

I cant believe he went with Tilt and left the boy Whelan on the bench. Tilt has shown he can’t mark a bingo card and his positional play for the goal clearly demonstrated this. As for Jones, he is what he is, there is no getting better. At least Evans is young enough to progress and learn from his mistakes. Its now time to give him a run of games. I also hope on Saturday Zack Clough
is at best on the bench the boy Asgaard is twice the player.
All these comments where made prior to last nights game not after by the way.

The lockdown is the final nail in the coffin. Who will be prepared to buy a club, fork out for wages, utilities, etc etc and have no revenue?
No sense businessman would touch it with a bargepole. I honestly believe we will be in liquidation within 3-4 weeks.

Hello gang I’m still around and well thanks, just been in my plastic bubble like a lot of other fans.
What happened to us in the past 7-8 months totally deflated me and many of my mates. I got to a point whereby it wouldn’t have bothered me if I never saw another football match again.
I looked at the team being put out every week and to me it wasn’t Wigan Athletic it was an Administration 11.
I know I’ve experienced worse times than this as a tics fan but this has felt so much different.
I’ve watched every game, but also not enjoyed any, even the few we’ve won.
With the new owners being just round the corner, I hope when they are appointed it gives us the lift we all need.
Have a great tier 3 christmas and a happy, prosperous and healthy new year everyone. :good:
