Hardly a queue of would be replacement owners is there?
If Dave really needs to get shut, he could always sell up to his mate Eric Pollard
Melvin Leatherbarrow is looking for a new venture, seeing that the other two members of John Martin Sound have gone solo and Goose Green Labour Club has downsized. :woohoo:

What a journey! He’ll probably sign tomorrow, it used to be the norm that Friday was signing day. He’ll probably start his medical tomorrow, finish it off next wednesday, sign next Friday, receive his kit the following Tuesday, have a tour of Wrightington country club mid September, start training with the first team early October, flown out to Barbados to spend a week or two with Big Dave 3rd Week in October, complete his move from his London pad to McCarthur’s old house early November, do his back in shifting furniture, therefore spend 2-3 weeks on the physio’s table the weeks leading up to Christmas, start training again early January, get himself fit first week in February and make his debut for the tics at Notts Forrest 11th February.
Then again, the deal might fall through and he pens a four year deal with Brentford. :huh:From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Should just be flying ove the Grand Canyon then so I don’t give a f#*c…..
Are you Evel Knievel?
What a journey!Powell starting for Utd tonightI would have expected Powell to play for Man U tonight, it’s not like we would be worried about him being cup tied. I still wouldnt rulle him coming on loan with view to permanent deal if we get promoted. Having said that he looks like he’s out for a stroll in the park rather than playing to impress LVG.

What a journey! If Leicester or indeed Burnley meet his valuation, I would urge James Thur to think long and hard about jumping ship.
Both those clubs will almost certainly be fighting a relegation battle this season, so could be back in the Championship next season.
At the moment his place in the Latics starting 11 is almost guaranteed, his form has got him retained in the Scottish National squad for the Euros. If he doesn’t get regular game time at either EPL or Championship level, Strachan will almost certainly look to someone who is playing for their club week in week out. Good examples of players who have been overlooked at national level due to lack of game time are Heskey and Moses.
If his only carrot is wages, then good luck to him, but watch this space if he does move on.

What a journey! Not really – your attendances have zero impact on my life.
There is plenty of bullshit spouted on this site, but that’s right up there with the best of it
How about writing a book on where the lost 8000 have gone over the last 3 years?
An even better idea is, why don’t you write a book on how two massive Yorkshire rugby league clubs fought out the 2014 Challenge Cup Final, why worriers fans sat at home wearing their Norweb and Ellgren tops, hoping for a Cas win.
The sequel can be about how St Helens won the 2014 League leaders Trophy and Soup or Leek title.
Now run a long you fekin little no mark. :P
I didn’t want Cas to win. I was hoping they’d get stuffed.
Saints will probably finish top but I don’t think they’ll win the league. Wigan or Leeds for me.
Hope it turns out nice for you. There’s not much else you could have said it’s the only thing you are hanging on to.

What a journey!Cheers Griff nice to hear from you. Apart from that 5 4 Friday nonsense you have been lurking in the shadows this past week or so.
It’s also not a coincidence that SW has also gone AWOL. Were you two milk monitors at the same school? :P
What would you know about going to school?
I pop back now and lurk around again to see if my decision to not bother any longer has been vindicated. So far, it has.
Went to Rivington and Blackrod Grammar school at the age of 11 and funnily enough was writing stuff then, similar to what you are writing now, but soon grew out of it. :P
You’ve tried dropping out this board on many occasion, but still keep coming back like a bad penny.
It’s like when someone smells their own fart under the blanket, they know its wrong in so many ways, but yet they can’t resist. :sick:Don’t feel the need to stay away, its all a bit of fun and sometimes there are some decent discussions. You just have to sort out the leg pullers from the out and out numpties. I have course fall into the last category as far as you are concerned but never mind, hey ho… B)

What a journey!Far too early to be panicking. We’ve scored in every game and have shown a good fight to pull ourselves back when we’ve gone behind. But the naievity and inexperience he showed towards the last third of last season is coming through.
If the team is still trying to gel he should have played the same team from Reading against Burton so that (whatever the outcome) by the time we played Charlton they would have started to be more of a unit. Now the pressure is on a weary, demoralised team away on a Tuesday night at la relegated prem team.
Have also got a sneaky suspicion that Maccas two goals will have alerted a few teams – losing both him and MacArthur at the end of the month would be disastrous. We have also conceded two in every game, meaning we have to score at least 3 to win. Whilst everyone has been moaning about our lack of a decent striker, our troubles seem to be in the defensive areas. :woohoo:

What a journey!It translates something like this;
Other contenders for Armando Vajushin squad. Litex Lovech striker after Udinese and Palermo, has reportedly attracted the attention of Wigan Athletic, the club that militates in Championsship.
The English team has sought to assess how cost 22-year-old, and required by many Ukrainian team. Vajushi considered one of the key players and Litex not activated whenever its absence is felt on the playing field.

What a journey! Why is it that whenever we have a couple of consecutive bad results/performances someone reckons the dressing room is lost?Apparently a full hour after the whistle went last night, the latics players where observed wandering around Burton in their soiled strips, with map and compass in hand looking very worried.

What a journey!Do you remember James McCarthys debut for the tics?
If you do then I presume you also wrote him off as a lump of lard.
what you on about ?? you on your phone with the Monday club in’th Moon ??
Grow up lad we are trying to have a sensible conversation here. I was referring to your knee jerk post to Saturdays poor performance. You questioned the fact that Man City have given Huws a 2 year deal after presumably seeing him play 90 mins with team mates he’d met just a couple of days earlier.
I certainly saw enough in the lad to give me a warm feeling that he will do well at Wigan. I’ll put your over the top comments down to the fact you just wanted to get your silly Trumton pun in.
Watching footballers and getting “warm feelings” I’d be careful there bud and put a thumb on it. If it weren’t for the post twice and Carson I doubt you would be calling it a knee jerk reaction. Rosler talks about fitness and players not ready so why pull friendly game in Germany ?.
That second half gave me no encouragement what so ever, that’s as poor as I’ve seen for a good while. By the time we “get players fit” and players back from injury we’ll be playing catch up. We have had all summer to bring in and get fit , we should be out the traps setting the pace, fit and ready.
If it wasn’t for McArthur on Saturday we would have looked like relegation fodder. I still have a feeling if Forshaw does decide to come to Wigan Mcarthur will end up in the Prem, 1 in 1 out , like for like no improvement to the squad.
I certainly didn’t get a “warm feeling” over Huws that’s for sure even though he’s not a bad looking chick , and were’s Trumton ??
I to wasn’t thrilled with the performance saturday, but refuse to spit my dummy out like you have sunshine. Lets leave it at that for now. B)
