It must be getting embarrassing for sky and the rugby league. I heard one mon on sky sports news tonight going on about this weekend festival of rugby watched by 60,000 fans. How many games was that covering then?
Now I’ve not watched any of the matches, but seen clips and the Etihad looked desolate. The Millennium Stadium was too big for the occasion, so they tried Murrayfield, which also was far to big for the occasion. Then they tried a stadium half the size of the previous two, The Etihad and that’s too big for the occasion.
Why don’t they just scrap the damn thing, I’m sick of hearing about the price of this and the price of that from chubsters at work today.
Get Leigh Sports village booked for next year and make the crowds look half decent FFS. B)

What a journey! The Old Showground, went there quite a few times and saw us bang in plenty goals, including a 7-2 victory. Les Bradd scored quite a few of them.
A young and upcoming cricketer named Ian Botham played a few games for Scunny during that period too.I might be off the mark here, but did those floodlights seem to give off a yellowy cast on everything, very strange. :woohoo:

What a journey!Roberto will be at Everton next season
Yes, the Spanish Judas tvvat may well resist the calls from Tottenham and Barcelona be stay at Everton.
Yes your right, he still needs to fulfill his promise to BK and get champions league football at Goodison Park. One season gone and counting…..

What a journey!Roberto will be at Everton next season and guess what, he’ll win um didley squat again. The man is too nice and doesn’t listen to people who are wise to the EPL.
Keep going with your bed time patterns, training patterns, eating habbits, whatever but you need someone to get a grip and add to your technical ability. Liverpool have stole your thunder and will do so as long as you are in charge.

What a journey!Absolutely amazing !Someone has managed to hide the crowd, now that is Magic.
Why what’s happening bud?

What a journey!Looks like Arsenal have already started work on their open top bus parade arrangements. Details of what the route will be and what roads will be closed have already been issued. I know you have to plan these in advance but it still bugged me.

What a journey!Wasn’t Gary Caldwell one of triplets, Steven Caldwell and Titus Bramble?

What a journey!Love Spanish ommlettes and naked Spanish women.
I suspect they wouldn’t reckon too much of you, though.
Not much changes in a week or so away from here. You’re still talking shite and floundering every time someone tries to put a reasoned argument to you.
Hen-pecked husbands and naked Spanish women? Really?
Oh I see your back you numpty, been on another meltdown?
You’re the new Dave from Skem only balder and mentally thicker. I see you seem to think you’re good at knowing what a woman likes in a man.
Now I’m not being funny you wazuk, but that’s camper than writing childrens books. Perhaps this weeks five 4 Friday malarkey could be about your 5 most dishiest men in the world.
Anyway, I’ve got the only woman I need, I put a ring on her finger over 30 years ago. Now fek orf to whence you came and carry on your meltdown with LMB. :P

We just have to make sure that we do a job on um, Uwe over to you son.
I thought you weren’t happy with Uwe’s choice.
But I’m not sure what you want him to change.
You’ve still got a few hours to give him the vital instructions.
Your there again big gob jumping in without thinking. I didn’t say I wasn’t happy with Uwe’s team, I said that quite a few players he picked had a poor game and named um, although tbf others thought McCarthur had a decent game.
When we win, the manager and players quite rightly get the credit, but when we lose it seems a witch hunt has to start on one player. It used to be Gomez, now its Fortune. I don’t particularly like the player, he has been a big let down this season, but Rosler sees him in training each day and puts him in the team, especially on the big games, that’s my point.
As for the comment about giving him instructions, grow up you wally!

What a journey! It must be a red and white, stripey, hoopy thing with mutty, no matter how much he tries, his legs get whipped from under him. :woohoo:

What a journey! As anyone seen the penalty we should have got last night just seen it on sky and omg not only was it a penalty but clint hill should have been sent off and mr jones the ref was looking straight at it at the edge of the box.Yes saw that myself. Hill intentionally or not, took Waghorn out inside the box, both waggy’s legs were took out knee height.
Hill then played the injured party and got away with it. As you say Jones was standing 5 yards away so should have seen exactly what happened.

What a journey!Every Saturday, The Times Sport supplement has a column titled The Fink Tank, written by Danny Finkelstein. Formally known as Baron Finkelstein OBE, he is the Executive Editor of The Times and also Chief Leader Writer and a weekly political columnist. His column is a statistical analysis of football performance, and today he has turned his attention to Premier League managers. He used the wage bill of each club to predict the number of points that it should win. The manager who exceeded his target by the most points to become “a very worthy winner” of Manager of the Year is Roberto Martinez.
Well done, Roberto! Second came Mauricio Pochettino and third Tony Pulis.
That is the most pointless post in the history of forums.
Let’s now work out the average height of each team in the prem and then compare it to the amount of headed goals they have scored.
Then lets work out the volume of water sprinklered on each premier league ground, take into account the length of each players studs and factor in the mass and momentum to determine which players slip the most when not involved in any challenge.
PS Thanks Roberto for taking time to have your photo took with my grandson last night before the match.
Your missus by the way is drop dead gorgeous, ……eh, perhaps we could work out how much make-up every premier league SWAG uses, calculate the surface area of their faces………..

What a journey! At least we know Fortune is going to have a bad game, we don’t expect it from Maloney, Macmanaman, McCarthur, Perch, Beau [well maybe] I could go on, but the only one’s to come out with any credit tonight were Carson, Caldwell, Kiernan, Boyce and Gomez.
Guess what boys and girls, it was Rosler who picked Fortune over Waghorn and Maynard, shouldn’t he be getting the stick?.
Yes Fortune was shyte tonight, but so were a few others.
QPR done a good job on us tonight, it weren’t pretty, it weren’t edge of yer seat stuff, it was a bloody good job! :(
We are still in the tie and wouldn’t surprise me if we did um at their place.
We just have to make sure that we do a job on um, Uwe over to you son.
But why, in your opinion, did so many players have a bad game? Did they all just suffer an off night simultaneously?
Was the shape of the team wrong? Were QPR organised to counter our tactics? What changes to tactics or players might we have made at half time?
And what is the remedy? Or do you think that it is enough for Uwe to go into the dressing room and say, “Do a job on um!”? Answers before Monday night, please.
The answer is YES. QPR will different opposition on Monday than they was last night and therefore we will get more space, time and opportunity to get at them.
Thought you would have understood that without all those questions, or were you just being a cnut?
