Why what’s he done as a manager?.
Under achieved at Ajax having spent millions on players, did OK with Dutch national team to reach the Euro quarters but couldn’t beat Russia.
Why not go for Alan Shearer or Gary Lineker they were decent players and are making their money being pundits just like MVB is. :woohoo:

What a journey! The national team’s structure at whatever level will get nowhere, despite the hysteria and false dawns of the gutter press, while the Premier League holds sway with its ever increasing foreign influx and the FA’s dismal failure to truly develop young players to international standard.Building new facilities or whatever is nugatory (I suspect that word may have now made its first appearance here) if those on the pathway for development cannot gain top-level experince as their Continental peers have done. Our best young players have to play on loan in lower divisions while in Germany and Holland and elsewhere development of home grown talent is prized.
And do you know what? I don’t care. While the FA is governed as it is, the
national team can go and boil their collective incompetent heads.Rant over (and I don’t often rant on here!).
Guess what George you are 100% correct and We are all with you.

What a journey!”Takes our best players”?
Err? Mcmanaman, Kone, Maloney, McCarthy etc…….FFs
Everton has no more of a war chest than we do. How many is he going to take?
Kenwright has already said Martinez has got money to spend. By this statement I doubt he means peanuts. I expect Moyes will also take Baines and/or Fellaini to Manure instilling more funds for transfers.
How do I know how many he’s going to take? How longs a piece of string?
He can’t kidnap them and take them against their will!! Most of the ones you are thinking might go to Everton would probably be leaving Wigan anyway. Who cares where they go if they are leaving?.
Does anyone on this forum understand how football works?
Do you have to try and get an inflated pigs bladder covered in animal hide into some netting draped over 2 upright pieces of timber and 1 crossbar which joins them together ? I think the rules allow 11 players on each side but often there are only half that amount of actual players on each side ! ;)
That’s a strange method for cleaning windows! :P

What a journey! What about us having a “unique opportunity”, will we not have any now?

What a journey!I personally didn’t like the way Bruce left us when he went to Sunderland.
There was no reason in the world to come out with the Harrods- Tesco comment whichever way you want to interpret it, he dissed our club in his first fekin interview, the twort. Then within weeks he had the audacity to come straight back to tescos for Catts and Bramble.
No Bruce for me please, new era, new challenges, new hope, totally new manager please! :)
agree with your anti Bruce sentiments but I honestly can’t think of anyone better to get us out the championship.
like I said before though its a complete non story IMO.
he didn’t sign bramble til the season after he left BTW …
I am still having nightmares about brambles terrible long passes under martinez…
I stand to be corrected squire. :P

What a journey! If I were Kenwright I’d be just a little concerned about what bobby does to his defence.
Jags is a Joey average, Distin is past his best, Baines may be off to Man U and they have struggled with right backs having tried the young Irishman Coleman there for the last few games of the season.
He may sign Alcaraz and that would be a superb addition, but there will be some serious heartaches going on with the toffees before he gets them clicking. :woohoo:
Now that’s me done with Martinez and Everton until our paths meet in the EPL, come on big Dave and pull us out a guddun! :cheer:

What a journey! We knew that relegation was inevitable……..what a spineless kop out.Why was it inevitable ? Oh ,you mean like death is inevitable ? Screw me what a weapon !!Yes it was inevitable whilst your reach around partner was in charge…….but your not bothered now ,are you ? The manager was trying to emulate Barcelona with championship grade players and as admirable as it was at times it was crap to watch. But blind love is a wonderful quality.
Mr Balloon head just calm down a little after all Bobby let us down by winning the FA Cup and getting us in Europe after all a couple of seasons in the Championship will sort a few fans out as always the lightside will see the positive in things where as the first defeat to a Yeovil or Doncaster will have your mob on the rampage no matter who is manager
