Just seen the news. Thank goodness for that.
Obviously going to be a tough season adjusting to the new reality, but so relieved we will have a club to support
People are focussing on the winding up hearing date of 26th July.
The sh!t is going to hit the fan a lot sooner…have a read of this and be very worried –
The reason HMRC are taking a tough line with us is the owners twice showed HMRC “proof” they had the funds available to settle the tax bills at any moment. That’s what Markham/Gottman published in their resignation statement.
Failing to pay the tax due puts the owners in the “deliberate defaulter” category with HMRC and a different level of response from HMRC.
If Talal and cronies didn’t actually have the money available, more fool them for lying to the taxman. That never ends well.
I thought the EFL had been worryingly quiet towards us recently.
I would have said last one out switch off the lights, but at this rate the leccy will have been cut off by then.
Let’s face it, we’re somewhere between Kerry Packered and fooked, and that’s being optimistic.
I’ve feared for some time that the real reason Talal won’t put Phoenix into administration is his fear of what the administrators will discover around the running of the business over the last 12-18 months.

I’m not sure what’s going on but if the wages hadn’t of been paid I’m sure one of players agents or stadium staff would have social media released it by now or even Nixon would have the info. FFS that Nixon knows what I’m having for tea tonight the nosey cnut
Kendrick saying as of 20 min ago the wages have not been paid.
The club shop is apparently shut due to “technical difficulties”. Either the staff have (rightly) downed tools or maybe creditors have had the remaining stock seized…
The mind boggles as to what other bills are going unpaid.There are no words left other than GET THE FECK OUT OF OUR CLUB NOW
This has gone on far too long. Any member of staff who has not been paid as at 0900 tomorrow (or whatever they’re booking on time is) should refuse to work until they are paid.
We have to take our chance in the shark infested waters. The bridge is being consumed in a raging inferno before our eyes.
If this lot stay, we die 100%.
A “National Treasure” has been exposed as a liar and a cheat tonight, so where does that leave Talal and cronies expecting the benefit of the doubt?
