Let’s hope that this time next week, we are all suffering from hangovers after the celebrations of staying up
Only a handful of clubs are profitable the rest make losses and now with no matchday money coming in things will only get worse. If Lenegan and a consortium take charge I see more problems appearing down the line. I’m sure he’s thinking secure the rugby’s future. But not that, what happens when say one of the consortium decides to pull out ?. Koukash is flamboyant and his connections within the racing world are second to non. It will take someone with money who’s prepared to take financial risks and I’m not sure a Lenegan belt and braces Wigan based consortium are for us

Okay he might be slightly eccentric, but like DW he is a self made man and so must have that determination & drive inside him.
Take a look at Mr Chester on you tube; it’s hard not to like his positive style.If the EFL sanction the 12 point deduction then they are are complicit in underwriting the alleged betting scam, thus aiding the criminals and punishing the innocent. Surely, it would be a powerful statement to support the innocent victim (and member of it’s own association) until proven otherwise. Okay, they might look like they have egg on their face if they suspend their own ruling; but will win more respect and credibility in the long run by trying to rectify their own negligence, and thus potentially frustrating any criminal gains from the whole sorry saga.
So, EFL you need to grow a set of balls; not kick Wigan Athletic in theirs !!!!!!!!

I can think of plenty of Latics away games where we have been searched before entering the ground or vicinity of the match. What a liberty, when the group that I regularly attend games with are all respectable citizens and well behaved on our Latics days out !!!!!
