How can she make a statement that the MEN bombing was simply retaliation; and then think she will be welcomed back into the UK.
We had a good start and looked comfortable then started to let them have opportunities at the back post with a spare man finding space. Then what looked like a con of a penalty (not seen it on tv so happy to be wrong). After that it wAs always going to be tough breaking them down as the sat and defended.
I had several frustrations;
Their play acting

The lack of urgency towards the end

We just didnt quite have the guile and cunning to create that final power play in the endzone.
But look at it like this. We faced a team, or the majority of a team, that were two levels above us last season, and we kept a clean sheet and held our own. That has to be taken as a positive.

Donny, we played nowt like the Joyce era. Joyce was undoubtedly the worst Manager at the Latics in my lifetime (and you know how long that is). We defended well but the midfield failed to give Josh & Leon good service. They were both chasing lost causes (aka the Will Grigg era). Midfield is the second line of defence, but has also to be the engine room & creator; and that’s where we are stumbling at the moment. Would have been better with Reece at right back and Evans or Powell in midfield. On the positive side, we have taken 4 point off joke city !
I say give the lad a chance and get him signed !
He originally signed for Jaap Stamm at Reading and maybe he doesn’t relate to the new Reading Manager (José Manuel Martins Teixeira Gomes); so a move back up North suits him. He certainly has had more experience and first team game time at left back than our loanee, Antonee. At 6ft 2 inches he can also play in the centre. He’s only 24 and is not one of Cookies drinking partner, so that should please Donny !

Ps….What happened to max 5 year jail term for carrying a knife in public. Can’t recall anyone receiving that.Prisons are full, so our Nanny State doesn’t bother.
As for the comment about more shootings in the USA, I’d like to see the comparative stats as a percentage of shootings / stabbings against population.
