Aye Donny, missed Fulham cos ironically I was in that bubble, called London.
Last time me and Claude went to Knob End we missed JR’s goal, cos we wish interviewed by Chris Kanara !
Hopefully I’ll get on before we score. 3 – 1 again will do !

Fooking snowed that day, and the pitch wasn’t cleared; they just got on with it in them days !

Was it Tim Chow who was released previously by Latics, and Gary Caldwell ressurected his career and gave him another chance? I may be wrong, not sure.
Anyway, unfotyunately for him he has failed to take that chance and Gary Caldwell and his team have obviously realised this and decided, like most of us, that he is not improving at a fast enough rate to be good enough for the league that we we now play in.
Good luck to him, but sentiment counts for nothing in football. He is a nice, neat and tidy looking footballer, but he doesn’t have that extra bit of strength or pace needed, especially for someone who also doesn’t have that killer pass in him.
I have a feeling the same may happen with Flores as I haven’t seen much to make me think he could replace any of the midfielders we currently have in the team/squad.
Young Burke looks to be a different kettle of fish altogether and I think we may see more of him in the coming months if he continues to impress the management. He reminds me of a young Bainsy, but obviously on the opposite flank.

Correct HORC; Malky ditched him then Gary gave him another chance. A workman like player but I don’t think he would ever get into our all time to ten midfielders.

in reply to: Burton Albion #150285

Ask yourself; how long did Burton Albion spend above us last season and at one point they must have been 10 or 12 points clear at the top. Last question; where did they finish ! Enough said.

    No smoke without fire !
Did he have a bit of a bad boy reputation before he joined us. If so,maybe he doesn’t fit in despite his appetite for football. There’s always a lot of stuff that we never get to know.

But yes, we need bloody strikers :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

    gets the chop??

If he does, will it be a Bobexit ?

At least he doesn’t have to promise Champions League Football.

He’ll be awreet for chocolate, lager & mussels !

Good Luck Belgian BoB :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

How Long Before BOB, Bob’s His Head Up Again ?
Sunderland I think not. He was At Manchester Airport at the weekend, on his way to Spain. How do I know. He was doing selfies with a group of young girls that I know.

    in reply to: Rangers #149432
I don’t think Rangers have enough dough anyway.

If we turn down their bid, he might get a Cob on !

in reply to: Noblot Season Ticket Prices #149360

Arsenal tickets £1014 average. That’s only 566% more than a Latics ticket.
Serves the London Bubble crowd right !

It has certainley shook the country up a bit this EU vote,
The PM quit, the two leading lights in the ‘leave’ campaign have also gone. The only big name still up for it is Jeremy Corbyn, and 200 of his MP’s don’t friggin want him. What a pickle!!!

I’m sure it will all calm down when the football season starts again and we can get back to what really matters……..Supporting Wigan Athletic FC.

Bloody good job that we didn’t get in the Scottish football league, all them years ago

No amount of biased propaganda will changed the vote; so you better reach for the Kleenex :P :P :P

I take it you didn’t think much about the democratic wishes of the people in the referendum Garswood.
I wasn’t conned by anyone. I see daily the money wasted by district councils, county councils, metropolitan councils, whitehall and we need to lose one tier of government and the European tier is my choice.

You are absolutely correct Donny; for the last five years I have worked close to Government institutions and have reached similar conclusions.
