No room for off games next season.
There will be plenty off games next season I guarantee you that. Not sure we had an off day as people put it roughly translated as we don’t win.
Thought Rotherham played really well with pace and aggression helped by the ref failing to know which way a foul was.
However give us credit we stuck at it and came away with a hard earned point. Dunks mom for me.
Could have still won it good chances for Grigg Jacobs and Vaughn which go in on another day.

Powell’s injury sounded a bit worrying although it allowed us to play two up top which yielded three goals …. cue donmy
I wonder if this thread is filled with 3 pages of posts like the portsmouth one was after monday.
No, because most of those who frequent here were watching on TV or listening to the radio last Monday rather than being at the game, and thus had nothing better to do than moan once the final whistle went
To be fair most of the posts weren’t negative they were responding to Donnys latest 442 rant.
Can’t believe we scored 5 yesterday with only one up top and that one scored a hat trick too. Get two strikers on Cookie ffs.
First the negative. Spot on JR the officials took incompetence to a whole new level.
Superb today. Fair play to there attack our centre halves know they’ve been in a game.
Elder bounced back from his worst game with a great performance.
Morsey ran the show.
Powell must have been held up by string for his goal. Ridiculous hanging time.
Superb hat trick from Griggs
And save the biggest compliment to last I’m his biggest critic but credit were credit due.. Well played Massey.
Christ even Yootha would have got us out of this league with this squad and backing from the board. Now I know your on the wind up
Heard him on Talk Sport only last week. Always thought he talked a lot of sense. A proper football man. Very Sad.
Amazing were questioning a formation that at the current ratio will yield 95 points and almost 90 goals.
In any other season were pissing it but because two other teams match us it’s all the formations fault were not up already.
When Vaughan was on we left him up front on his jacks deciding to play the ball through the middle to him and starving him.
So at 2-0 down and under 30minutes to go wouldn’t 2up front bin the best option ?, no Cook decides to remain with one up front by bringing Grigg on and ? Start knocking it long. Now if Vaughan had of been on upsides Grigg im sure we’d have grabbed a point.Powell was still bringing the ball from the half way line till Cook decides to bring Roberts 15mins after Grigg had come on then Roberts ends up crossing the ball for Griggs goal.
My point been, were 2-0 down so for me 2up front was the way to go with 25 to go, either Grigg/Vaughan or Grigg/Roberts or Roberts/Vaughan
Massey ? What’s his role ??, im lost
Elder ?, liability,
But if theres one humongous problem we have
No pace or width what so ever, weres the scotch lad we bought ?, seems another waste along with Cole.
MacDonald ?
James ?
Fulton ?
Cole ?
Our bench bar Grigg was ultra light to say the leastHow can the bench be light with 3 subs of Grigg who scored. Roberts who crossed and Coco who everyone seems to think should have started and the Scots lad you referred to (Walker)was on the bench too?
Gavin Massey getting picked any week baffles me.
Question is if we were to get promoted how many of this season’s squad would be good enough for The Championship?
Possibly Grigg Jacobs and Byrne, Defo Burn,Morsy,Powell. That’s about it really and that’s just being realistic.Individually possibly but as a team all of them. We must not make the same mistake we made last time bringing in so many new players. This team has beat three premier league teams so I’d be mord than happy to stick with them with a couple of quality additions to replace the aging legs of Bruce Perkins Hunt and Roberts.
Let’s get there first though
Called up by Egypt so who would you pair in midfield. Id take a punt on Power and Powell that would let us go with Grigg and Vaughn up top but reckon it will be Perkins.
Hope it’s not the lad from Swansea
Oh dear, that last sentence.
Haha I stand corrected
Why talk about luck?We have the best squad in the division. The only reason we wouldn’t go up is if management didn’t get the best out of the resources given to them. Too many poor draws have been brushed off as decent results. Given the points haul of our rivals, it’s clear anything other than 3pts is a bad day at the office.
Disagree if we get over 90 points I reckon the management have got the best out of them but it will be bad luck and a freak of a season not to go up. Same applies to our rivals too.
Walton
James
Burn
Dunkley
Byrne
Walker
Powell
Morsy
Jacobs
Grigg
VaughanSo the only thing you’ve not changed is what cost us today – The defence ?
What cost us today? That was Cook and he will still be in charge.
No he didn’t. Whilst Perkins was a strange choice we still scored 3 goals at home enough to win any game. We didn’t conceed 3 due to the fact Perkins was playing but the back 4 which Cook has picked all season.
Sell Morsy and Powell? Really?
Give your head a wobble.I did have to read that twice myself…??
Some massive over reactions again but that quote topped them all
