Its a must-win game for both sides. A draw will almost certainly send both down.
No.
As much as I’d like a 7th season, I feel that Wolves’ win last week has given them the momentum to get at least 4 pts and probably 6 from their last 2 games.
Playing tomorrow could be a huge advantage for both sides. On the flip side, if Wolves, Blackpool & Blackburn all pick up 3 pts today, it could be the biggest Wake seen in Wigan.
If I remember correctly, Mr Whelan made a similar gesture for the Chelsea game last May, but the take-up rate was slightly less than West Ham’s.
wasn’t it the west ham away game ?
and as i remember the free travel was only given if you signed up to a 188.com gambling acount, i wonder if gold or sullivan are making the spammers take out a subscription to a porn mag.[/quote]
You are right – it was the West Ham game where 1500 tickets were available with an offer of free travel. However having gone through the archives, you didnt have to have a betting acct, but you had to either have one or be a member of the Supporters’ Club.
4500 by coach is a fantastic gesture – I guess the cheats are taking this game quite seriously!

the other thing not mentioned is man utd,
they are in cruise control at the moment v chelsea and i think they will be happy with a point at blackburn to clinch the title – without it being too physical with the champions league final coming up and then a party mood atmosphere at old trafford on the last day could just suit blackpool who we all know will give it a go, with nothing to lose.Man Utd have a history of losing games once they have the title wrapped up – It would be seriously ironic if a Blackpool win or draw at Old Trafford sent the original cheats down.
I would hope as many of us as possible will make the trip to Villa Park, especially with our predicament as it is and our excellent record there, even though the ticket prices are a bit steep.411.
I hope they burn his body and scatter his ashes somewhere like Area 51 – the last thing the world needs is a shrine to this vile individual.
I suggest you use the same source that you used to correct the Catalan score on another post. Failing that, I’m sure Landgateblue will know the score.
But then again, I’m sure the lack of posts can give you a hint….
The bloke who punched the ball and then ballooned the ball over with the goal gaping is the one you should be venting your anger at.
I played golf then came home and did some gardening. Just enjoying a post-gardening pint!
It does. Sunshine.
Yet there are dozens & dozens of threads on such a teeny weeny minority sport. All started by people :liar: who then go on to claim they dont give a toss.
Talk about obsessed.
I suspect Landgate Blue has something to do with it – his name always appears in green on the front page, and he is a mod, so he can “fiddle” with things.
McKnob head no Wigan fan disrespected Stanley Mathews minutes silence .If you want wind folk up at least get your facts right. So this report in a national newspaper was all made up then…

The Metro runs right past the ground with a choice of two stops. Catch it from Newcastle (20 mins away) and save yourself the hassle of trying to drive amongst 35-40,000 people all trying to get away from the same place at the same time.Sure…
Have a look at http://www.safc.com/page/ClubVisitorsGu … 39,00.html
in particular the bit that starts with “Metro”. Rather than purely posting a link in my original reply I tried to be helpful and summarise the whole page for someone who asked a question.
Of course I could have been rude and just said “Check their website”, but unlike some on here I prefer to try and help when a proper question is asked.
I dont understand what you mean by “guard”, but I hope that answers your question.
