Right. Lets name and shame the JCL’s on here who are bringing the club down with their know-nothing ignorant attitude. They refuse to get behind the club and Martinez and the only reason is they are ex Man U fans who actually get upset when you criticise Bruce.
I’ll start with a few who should quite frankly, f**k off and leave us to support our beloved Wigan Athletic in peace….
Mighty Aff, Ticslad, parboldlatic…
Just for starters….weed these idiots out ASAP
Yeah – ban us, and anyone who dares show any dissent to the chosen one. After all, we are the bestest team in the league, with the bestest players, and the refs have got it in for us and bobby, and we have been unlucky 23 times, and Scotland just needs one goal and then he will be more prolific than Raul ever was at Real Madrid, and Gomez is miles better than Beckham, Lampard and Gerrard ever where, and bobby is ace…..etc.
What a moronic comment, its a football messageboard, where people air their views. If you dont like what i post dont read it. Simple.
It is not called a “We love bobby, and everything is great, and we are ace, and will win the champions league and club world cup in front on 670,000 capacity crowds, with bobby in charge, in his nice scarf that makes him look cute and i love him more than my wife (hang on i said that out loud) board”.
Or is it?? I wonder with some of you people.
Maybe Jay could change the forum rules to “only sucking up posts allowed”???
the first half performance wasn’t good enough. I think we need to be a lot better than that.
Did today what has been brewing all season. Stoke are rediculously dirty and today this thug could well have ruined a lads short term (maybe but hopefully not long term) Club, International and possibly football career. He nearly snapped Gomez in half twice when playing against us, and he he looked surprised when this happened, thug – should be banned for a lot longer than he will do.
Hope the boy Ramsey makes a quick recovery and Stoke with all thier thug players and fans have an equally rapid decline.
I would have to agree. Disgusting challenge.
Course we could be. If Bobby gets us to click consistently there’s no reason why we can’t be. Keep the faith.Birmingham 0 – 3 Wigan… Watch this space :!:
Misguided. Deluded. Walter Mitty.
He’s gone on loan for the rest of the season to West Brom, I quite like him as he gets stuck in and he’s capable of grabbing the odd goal, just what we might need in a relegation dog fight.
A player with nearly no prem experience and lacking in talent. Just what we need that is pal ;) He aint good enough.
Change your statement above to
A MANAGER with no prem experience and lacking in talent. Just what we need that is pal ;) He aint good enough.
Strange how you note it applies to players, but not our manager.
I’m actually getting tired of all the complaining. Not just here but at the games as well.
I would prefer to be in a 10,000 crowd and not have to listen to all this nonsense. Over the years I have been proud of our supporters but something has gone wrong recently and, for me, that is far more worrying than how the team is playing. This season we have played some great stuff but we are growing as a team in the hardest league in the world so it will be a struggle.
Who are these people who whinge from the moment the ball is kicked off? In fact I’ve heard moans as the team comes out of the tunnel this year. For God’s sake give them a chance.
It is making going to matches hard work, because I seriously feel like punching folk for their idiotic comments. One guy in East 6 was bigging up the fact that he could do a better job than Martinez. Nobody stood up to him and he ended up actually believing his own nonsense in the end. It was truly embarrassing.
We badly need a campaign to get behind the team over the coming months. Perhaps CL or the supporters club could organise something to get some real support going. It is possible, at times yesterday there was a real buzz as we got behind the team. But as soon as a pass went astray… it’s a good job Messi doesn’t play here. He’d have to be perfect.
This team is lacking confidence. If the moaners cannot see that then they are not supporters of Wigan Athletic.
Agree with every part of that Piemon. Actually had to stop myself mouthing off with some of the shoite people have been coming out with about certain players and quite clearly knowing F all…. Don’t think you would get too many off here petitioning, half of these men are moaning too. (Ie Ticslad) Keep the fait in Martinez and the team!
You are 12.
Or is the board still infested with j.c.l. know it all moaning bar stewards?
Theyres some deluded blinkered clueless bar stewards knocking about.
The Superfans are beginning to gather.
To be fair, I think he has a point.Just not good enough, a good few of our players. Sorry, but we are only heading one way.
Some of the players are good enough, however i would question their want to play under a manager who achieved little in the game as a player, and certainly has achieved little in the game as a manager.
Can you imagine what Zogbia thinks, on 20+ grand a week, having played for France, played in the Champions League, played regularly in front of 40,000 + fans – being told to play on the wrong wing, taking instruction from Bobby, Barrow and Jones, who, if you added up their current and playing salary and times it by 4 would be no where near what Zoggy takes. The players have no respect for him. ANd day by day, the fans are beginning to have less.
Nuff said!
Get back to school ya p****!Or maybe you should go back to school to realise 20year olds don’t go to school as they finish when they are 16?
Glasshouses.
I would have assumed you left at 13. And as some folk remain through sixth form, they are technically still at school until 18. You would be correct regarding 20 year olds not being at school as that is generally referred to as ‘college’, or in your case ‘unobtainable’.
Sadly, its not shocking that the performance was so bad under super bob head – its actually quite predictable. If we where to play well, now that would be shocking.
21 February 2010 at 10:25 pm in reply to: Well Superfans, the Spaniard led us yet another defeat. #23472Just have a read of this drivel from Martinez on the 9-1 humiliation given to us by Spurs….
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528, … 68,00.html
“The result we had at White Hart Lane was a very painful experience at the time but I was extremely proud of the way the players reacted and we are a stronger football club as a result.
“Humiliation in football is when you don’t find the answers and we had a great win at home to Sunderland.
“You look at the best sportsmen in the world and the ones that have had the biggest disappointments and the way they reacted are the ones that make a difference.
“You will never see a successful sportsman that has not overcome a big disappointment in their career.
“Until you experience that you will never be as good as you can be because it is all about how you adapt and make decisions after that.
“So I don’t see it as a negative note at all.”
Is this fella sane??? He doesnt see getting smashed 9-1 as a negative. Seriously, the quicker he quits or is scaked, the better. He is clearly not on the same planet as most folk. If he had been the Manager of Boca Juniors and they had been turned over 9-1 in their league, not only would he have been sacked, but he and his entire back room staff would have been run out of town.
Martinez = “between jobs”. Once Brenda figures out how to use the speaker phone.
I hope DW is readying his compen package.
I couldnt give a monkeys if we lose, but its the way and reasons for losing that get to me.
Steve Bruce, Paul Jewell…..id take any in front of this clown.
Whats the odds tomorrow he’s proud of the players?Chances are bob head will state “Its a platform to build on”, just before Brenda calls him into the office for a cup of tea, puts Uncle Dave on speakerphone, to be told “Bobby, your a nice lad, but a crap premier league manager. You will be paid until the end of this phone call. Goodbye”
this snow may just be a blessing in disguise.Hope they don’t remove it from pitch, it’ll cover up the problems. Sky won’t have anything to moan about then the fookin anti-wigan shlong jockeys. Plus we can have the orange ball of course. 1-0 TICS, (Spurs bout 3,700)
(In memory of HRH Dickens-cider Badger, who had a rather unsavoury encounter with a virgin pendolino near boars head bridge whilst foraging……R.I.P mi owd sh@gger).
Here here. 3-0 Wigan. Gravy boat
3-0 Wigan?? What a spectacularly wrong prediction. On aggregate you where wrong by 6 goals. Very poor indeed.
Your almost as good as Nostradamus. Oh seer of seers, prognosticator of prognosticators (look it up) – any ideas for the Birmingham game?? 7-0 wigan??? 5-1 wigan??? Keep up the good work mystic meg.
your that wound up you posted it twice numpty
And still no replies from brother James.
May be he’s trawling the net looking for answers. Or may be he’s just keeping his head down after having his legs blown off.
What a kn0b. Why ask me about stuff from 1985 etc when I was born in 1989?
I haven’t just been supporting the team since 2005 I have supported them since I can remember, oh and I have never booed the team off, as I am not an idiot like you, I went to games at springfield park etc but do not need to explain myself to you, as you are simply just an idiot and you give the club the kind of support it doesn’t need. Oh and I like the fact you’re trying to make out your a superfan when you clearly know nothing ;)
Your statement above “I do not need to explain myself to you” is clearly incorrect, as you are in your poor post actually doing what you say you are not doing. Jog on jimbo.
