It would be a good idea to have a place like this over there, where questions could be asked as they do seem a bit reluctant to come on here for some reason.
You may get inundated though as there is quite a bit of traffic over there compared to here.
I personally flick between both, but have to admit, apart from the adverts over there I do prefer the format.
I post less on here since it changed, and fear that when I try to ressurrect the Guess the Gate comp it will too hard and might die away which would be sad.

Thanks Jason. I think Ian’s sorted summat out with Arthur Itis, who’s recently taken up an Admin role (supporting Jonathon Fear, the site owner). I think Arthur’s going to put up a “sticky” thread.

However, my point wasn’t specifically to do with representation. It was more to do with where information such as the output from the meeting is published. There was nothing on your SLO FB site, nor on your page on the Supporters Club site.

I know there are loads of Latics FB sites, (eg BoBD, WTID, etc, and I wasn’t aware of Ian’s news site), so maybe there’s too many places to do a copy & paste across them all. So long as it’s put somewhere that everyone knows about, then that’s great.

Just a thought … Jason, I’m not sure if you’re “In the Know” (or it might be Ian) and have posted the stuff in the CEO meeting thread in your SLO role (which is great), but don’t you think you should communicate the info elsewhere too?

I know you say you don’t like the format (& the ads) on Vital, but it surely can’t be too painful to post (in your SLO role) the same stuff over there too.

OK, I suppose you could argue that it’s no hardship for folk to wander across here to get sight of it, but that’s not really the point.

If it makes it any easier, I can always ask for a sticky thread to be put up ….. it would just be a simple copy & paste then.

Thanks, in anticipation (of future updates).

                Hi Jason,
Given the very worrying statement given by Paul Stanley re the Bahraini team going very quiet, coupled with other rumours re there being no other credible bidders, and topped off by the Admins saying last friday that there’d be no further friday updates, isn’t it appropriate (and timely) that the Supporters Club issue another update. I appreciate the restrictions they’re under with regard to confidentiality, and I also understand that some people will moan if it doesn’t tell them every last little detail, but at this worrying time, something is surely better than nothing.

Most of us (I am sure) are very appreciative of their ongoing efforts, but a slight improvement in comms – even if only to give a warm vibe – would go a long way to calming down the more pessimistic element of our fanbase …….. and it’s a bloody big element !

                Many thanks

                  Hi Jason,
Quite a bit of discussion over on Vital about the (maybe understandable) lack of any comms from the Supporters Club. (It’s on the thread titled “New thread for all things takeover”).

Also, one poster in particular (Wlatic) says he has been trying in vain to get in touch with the SC. Any chance you can
                  a) put out (or get the SC to put out) an update on where they believe they are in relation to potential bidders (without naming names of course). I appreciate this may very likely duplicate to an extent what the Admins say, but it might offer a little more confidence,
                  and
                  b) put Wlatic in touch with the right people

                  Ta

Bad news that Powell isn’t reet. Jacobs dropped too.
Walker and Cole must be patient lads getting overlooked again. How pissed off must Reese James be too.

Good selections by Cookie, eh Donny ?

Was it one of the Greens who used to be Carrington & Dewhurst Atletics manager, Moonay will know if he sees this.

I think you’re thinking of (little) Terry Green Horc ……… I think he was more trainer (with the magic sponge) than Manager. Not sure who it was round that time Ste’s thinking about.

Later on, Graham Leach (tall bloke from New St) used to do it with Brian Makinson as trainer.

Sagar St between July to September ……… break your ankles !!!

Ah the good old Wembley Trophy ball, that was orange was it not?.

A puncture was easily mended by the careful application of a red hot poker.

                            Your point is ?

What a fabulous night for the Accy fans and a brilliant result against Burnley………

‘Kinell Ste, …………. how the hell did Accy manage that against Burrrrnley’s invincible 4-4-2 set-up ?

Moonay marrer the point is that tez posted that the two lying leaders had bailed, so Cameron never lied and bailed immediately the result was in eh.

Tez was right then wasn’t he.

As for Cameron, yes, along with just about every other single person involved in the campaign, he probably did tell some lies. Then, when he was shown to have lost the vote, he pissed off. Surely you wouldn’t want him to keep his job and halfheartedly attempt to implement something he doesn’t believe in.
