Personally I’ll be in Vegas, however other people are still doing it. The club want us to carry on doing it, so why stop something we enjoy and the players enjoy? If you’re not going, why you bothered? If a member of Latics asks it to be stopped no problem. The effect it helped with was worth it.
What’s really your problem?
You think hundreds aren’t waiting to meet manure or City players?
They will continue until asked to calm it down.
His problem is simple.
He was never one of the popular kids at school, never one of the cool ones. If indeed he has actually left school.
Now, via an Internet forum, he can reinvent himself. Or at least he thinks he can. So, he’s now trying too hard.
I’ve never understood booing your own. Makes no sense.
Last season I started to think that maybe Gomez did have what it takes to be a Premiership player.
This season there is no doubt – he is playing to a very decent Premiership standard.
What’s more, I think he can get even better.
There, I’ve said it. My name is Northern and I’m a Jordi Gomez fan.
Att: 7,545Probably more than would have been on at the DW
As I said championship level. Both! Anyway Northern I’m on the concourse having a pint do you care to join me and I will shake your hand or have you not bothered to make the game?Didn’t even bother going to the pub to watch it never mind Nottingham.
Outstanding. Be quiet .Southampton a little better than this level.Glad you agree he was outstanding ;)
But asking folk to be quiet is for West standers, not East!Southampton much better than what I’ve just seen in the first half tonight.
Gomez was outstanding on Saturday when he came on.
Mind you, perhaps Southampton are also this level?
No problem mate, the people you’d have been sat near are there for a reason – that’s to wind you up and remind you how good the south is ;)No need to remind me – I’ve lived in the south for the last 25 years!
Echo Garswood’s comments to you Rev and fair play coming on here and responding.
I don’t normally ever post on the night of a game. Far more objective the next day. I think I just let one or two of your muppets wind me up. I should know better at my age.
I’ve just watched the Football First highlights and you came a lot closer to getting something than the 2-0 scoreline suggests. Some of our fans are getting carried away with our performance. I hope they are right, but suspect we will have a lot more games like yesterday that don’t go our way.
Good luck for the rest of the season.
So have I, but not for quite a while.
Just got back from my ‘ten canner’ and can confirm it is absolute bollocks.
Excuse my techno ignorance but how do you get bt vision?I’m fairly sure you can get it now.
Mate of mine has had it over a year. Mind you, he does work for BT!Think it’s just another set top box, but try http://www.btvision.bt.com
Can’t claim any particular insight, but he seemed like a top bloke. One of the lads.
Played wherever he was needed.
Never heard anything bad about him.
Never any transfer rumours, never got ‘big’ ideas. Reckon he just loved playing football and when he got the chance to play for his boyhood team, Rangers, we let him go. Great to see he has stuck by them through thick and thin.In our recent history he’s up there with DeZeuw, Valencia, Baines, Boyce. One of a handful of players that, if he turned up in a game against us, would not get booed and we’d probably sing his song.
Suuuuuuuuper, super Lee
Super, super Lee

Super Lee McCullochLast day of my hols in North Devon so for me it’s going to be the 0943 Barnstaple to Exeter, the 1126 Exeter to Salisbury then 1332 Salisbury to Southampton. 4hrs 20 mins in total. All the while Mrs Primate will be packing the cases, cleaning the cottage and driving the car plus daughter home.
How the feck I’m then getting back to Milton Keynes is anyone’s guess!Looks like you will be hopping back on a train to Euston then on an other back to MK. The Olympics will be finished then so you can look forward to all the delays again.
Already checked it out. It’s quicker to go to Coventry and then back down to MK!
And the transport to/from the Olympics has been brilliant. We left the Olympic Stadium at 9.50pm on Monday night and I was in bed in MK before midnight. The trains all ran exactly (almost to the second) on time.

Can’t the missus not just take her time packing and then pick you up in Southampton on the way back?
I can just imagine the conversation now, “Do you think that after I’ve buggered off to football, you could finish the packing, cleaning, etc. then add a two hour detour to your four hour drive and hang around in Southampton for a couple of hours waiting for me to stagger out from the match, so I can get home?”, “Oh hang on, you could drive me there too and I’d save the train fare!”
I ain’t that brave, or stupid.
