it was a simple question, for simple people it seems, who seem unable to give a simple answer.
you see my friend, if you care to read the postings on here from the start of martinez’s appointment, a lot of ‘fans’ want him out one week then are chanting his name the next.
yes I am questioning peoples positiveness.
have I made that simple enough for you?Err, perhaps you don’t do irony?
You only ever seem to post negatively, yet you’re questioning the rest of us about remaining positive...we lose at hull promise me you will be as positive as you are now.
i won’t hold my breath. And what gives you the right to question others’ positivity?
all opinions, but do you think we would have one v 11 men and czech in goal?
We would have led 2-1 for sure had Cech not fouled Hugo. We would have been the team to end Chelseas 100% run at the very least.[/quote]
I’m as stunned at that comment as I was by our win on Saturday!
Where did you go for that holiday you had? Damascus?

Just been on their forum.
They’re actually debating the penalty decision and talking about appealing against Cech’s red card!!!
Just voted when there was 18 votes cast with 50/50 split, but it doesn’t seem to have registered?
Anyone know why?
On the evidence of the previous home games this season, I’m gonna go to the DW on Saturday fully expecting us to lose. This is because we will have far too much respect for Chelski, sit off them, let them have the ball etc. We will get picked off and will lose at least 2-0.
Negitivity or realistic? You decide.
It’s totally realistic that we lose to Chelsea. 2-0 would even be a reasonable damage limitation exercise.
Thing is though, you’re still going to support your team. That is what being a fan is all about. That gets my respect. Unlike those on hear saying they’re cancelling direct debits, no longer going, etc.
Unless of course you’re going so you can throw your season ticket at Roberto?
£12.34 on Amazon.
My first post I said I was saving £35. Then I said now I am saving £200. That ment season ticket, I know it’s hard for you to understand, but at least try.
Liable you say. That old get wants any more money from me, he can take me to court. I wouldn’t give the thief the steam off my ****!Your very first post appeared just after that infamous Whelan-hater, Bobbyswigan, went on his enforced hols.
Coincidence?
I got an iPhone recently and if it’s anything to go by, then Macs must be the dogs whatsits, cos this phone is quite simply the best bit of kit I’ve ever owned.
Recently I’ve experienced conflicting stories from others. The head of our network team who manages our systems, servers, etc. switched to a Mac, yet two of our web designers switched to PCs.
I guess it’s whatever suits.
I’m sure there is. Bit pricey though. In fact, I think you can get a drink directly outside the ground. There’s some sort of kiosks selling hot dogs and beer.
Forgot to add that this year I’m going for Arsenal to win 3-0 and Van Persie to score first. Probably not get very good odds though!
This is always been my luckiest fixture of the season.
I always have a couple of quid on something with long odds. First time at the Emirates I had two quid on Arsenal to win 2-1 and Denny Landzaat to get the first goal at 250-1 (or was it four quid at 125-1?). Either way I went home with 500 notes better off! Happy days.
That was the first and last time any long odds bet has ever come in mind, so I’m out of pocket in the long run.
I actually thought Gomez had a fairly decent game.He drew 2 or 3 saves from Green, and he never shy’s away from wanting the ball.
I think people need to get off his back.
I agree with that. He needs time and looks short on confidence.
Unfortunately, if you don’t chase lost causes and put yourself about a bit our fans will give you stick. Jeff Wright comes to mind.
Overall I thought we played well. Martinez has clearly got his messgae across about passing the ball about, but the team are still developing this new style of play. We need more movement off the ball. Most of the backwards passing was because the player in possession didn’t have options to go forwards as players were too static.
The worry, for me, is at the back. The casual attitude and hesitancy will cost us. It seemed that there was a lack of communication with no-one trying to boss things. Kirkland, Bramble and Boyce should be the ones to do this, especialy Kirkland.
