Donny i totally agree with you on fortune & IMO the wrong player (clarke) stayed on the pitch. Disagree with your claim on him being MOM – he played well, but kim was MOM for me.
For the record we should have won today. Bloody lucky deflection cost us 3 points.I am still confused by all the people who were convinced that Everton were going to actually win the Europa League? Their league form is woeful and they had shown nothing to indicate that they were going to succeed! Forgive me if I come across as too negative but can you really blame me? I feel like I have been robbed of £340 this season!Oh FFS fil. This season is just one of those seasons that clubs (mainly the size of ours) goes through from time to time. Yet i know of bigger clubs who have suffered the same fate. Yes it is a sh1t season -but i have known worse at this club ie the early 90’s. I am far than happy with how this season is going but Its football.fil just get on with it. I wasnt at the game last night but can imagine how it panned out. Correct me if im wrong but i suspect that every time there was a bad or stray pass, a chance of a goal spurned etc etc, there was a chorus of boos coming from the stands. & they wonder why we cant win at home. Now (& im not referring to just you fil even though ive quoted your comment) but im beginning to suspect just exactly who are the ones “thick as pig sh1t”.
Personally, i dont care if all our goals in the remaining games come from free-kicks or penalties as long as we win.
Lose tomorrow & THAT will be it i’m afraid. League 1 beckons next season. Win tomorrow & win against millwall & we stand quite a good chance of survival.

What i meant fil was if we beat the 2 teams the closest to us, it gives us a good chance of staying up.

I know we have been lulled into a false sense of security on numerous occasions this season but I do have a good feeling about today! Leeds fans should add to the atmosphere and I just feel it in my bones that today is gonna be a good day for Wigan Athletic! :)

Good luck to the lads today. Im in work but will be there in spirit. I feel that if we win today we WILL do it.
With the fixtures we have left, the chance to stay up is ours for the taking. Thankfully most of the crunch games are away, but we need to start picking points up at home.Sadly though, I think after the first mis-laid pass on Saturday the chorus of booooo will ring out and we’ll be back to square one.
& that my friend is the problem. Sadly i wont be there on saturday c/o work but i really hope the crowd gets behind them from now to the end of the season. Hopefully 3 consecutive away wins will give ALL a boost.
