When he was manager, graham barrow adopted 1 striker up front. Mark leonard

But i do agree with your comment regards a settled side.

At least Judas got an hammering tonight( the man who first brought in this lone striker garbage)
it wasn’t martinez though in fairness who developed the 1 man up front. This formation has been around for some time.

Thanx very much jay & it is appreciated. The email i sent you seems to have failed & i sent two to you.

i rang the club again this morning & it will be available to view this saturday before the game which sadly i cant go to (the game) as im working in the afternoon, but my son & i could nip down in the morning.

Just replied to your email jay. Let me know if you received it. Cheers!!

Yes but griff i haven’t in fairness cos i dont know where to find it. Everytime i’ve phoned the club it has been out somewhere.
& like i said i don’t live round the corner like most of you do.

Jay, thanks for what you are doing.

Jay i have just this minute taken your advice & rang the club. I was told you have to ring on a daily basis re: its whereabouts as IT has a diary. I also asked if it would be available during the half term. Again i was told to ring on the day.
Unfortunately living in the town i do i cant just drop everything to drive down to wigan, its not like i live 5-10 mins away & can just nip down. The club told me it was in the trophy cabinet today but as i said i just cant get there. I agree with edinburgh. The communication by the club is poor & there should be a better system of its whereabouts.

I’ll let you into a little secret Argus, the DW has a roof on to keep you nice and dry.

It’s the 15 walk from Albert Street that put me off JR. We would have been soaked by the time we got to the Ground.

My Mrs has been working this week so couldn’t get down for tickets. If we’d had tickets we would have made the effort.

Fingers crossed for another home draw !!
Poor excuses.

You could pay on the day.

Raining? Good job my Grandad didn’t mind a bit of rain when he was fighting in the trenches or Uwe’s press conferences would be much easier for him these days as he could do them in German.
i agree with u griff on this one. I left runcorn a little after 1pm after my son had finished his match. We jumped into the car still in our mud soaked kits. A panic came over me around 1.15 when on the M6 that halestone & torrential rain began & both my son & i had the fear it would be called off. Luckilly it stopped & we got to me mams house to get changed. Now argus if i can brave the elements…..

Does this mean that caldwell & rogne are due back soon.

Dont understand this transfer if it goes ahead as he’ll be back in the championship come what may.

Strange how Coyle is hated by so many yet Martinez seems to be given cult status by some and he brought in the most boring negative football we have ever seen, relegated us; turned his back on us and came back for players that he promised he wouldnt do!

In fairness to martinez he was the only premier league manager we had to beat all of the so called top 4 & provided us with the greatest day in the clubs history. But i see where your coming from.

As for coyle, he talks a good game IMO so a career in punditry perhaps better suited as opposed to management.

Is off to wolves in a £300,000 deal.
