You’re almost right phil re the orthapedic shoes. I do have to wear specially made arch supports from the podiatrist for my high arches.
I apologise if i got the whole formation thingy wrong, but i honestly thought that the 3 forwards now consisted of 2 strikers up front with one behind. I competely stand corrected.
You beat me to it mickey. I should have included in my original post that on bosellis first time he did indeed play in a lone striker role & wasn’t suited to it. The late john benson even told martinez this, but the latter wouldn’t listen. Boselli is a striker who feeds off someone else. The previous formation was not suited to boselli, but i believe this new formation (if roberto sticks with it) will suit boselli to the ground.
Probably would. He was a good player for us. But where would he play if he did come back. Defence or midfield.

as players all came back for second spells either permanent or on loan.Paul jewell & of course roberto came back for second spells as manager.
Bryan hamilton & ray mathias managed the club twice.
I agree with bicky & johndoe on this one. After the liverpool thing, plans & preparation should have been put in place to focus on the upcoming season, not to give fans the concern of martinez allegedly going to another club after turning one down previously. To be fair to whelan he has said he hopes spurs “leaves us alone.” i know its frustrating for fans but in the 30 odd yrars ive been supporting wigan we are simply a stepping stone club for both players & managers alike.
