We won away.
Happy New Year to all Latics fans.
Put him on gardening leave and promote anyone from inside the club……the sports the Ffp bollocks…….he cannot be allowed to continue………We have Peter Reid and/or Joe Royle. I’d rather one of them step in until the end of the season. Reid in particular wouldnt stand for any sh1t.
We are now 7 points adrift from ourselves to the team in 20th. This could be 10 after Birmingham.
Stu you are 1 blue ribbon c@@.Crying to admin…..grow a pair. Troll???? Don’t even know what one is. Try and keep to the subject matter.I know its difficult because you have been made to look an idiot with your lack of a constructive argument for 12 months in defense of Mr Cook. Don’t always agree with Egg but he makes some valid points in his previous post..You just tantrum like a 2year old.Be a big boy ,deep breath …..now type……”I was/am wrong and have been for 12 months,I’ve seen reason…..Cook Out”…..I’m not defending Stu, Derek, but I can see what he is trying to do & make light of a bad situation.
Back to the point. Egg, you seem very reasonable. But I have to agree with nuneaton. Our defence was rock solid all afternoon. I strongly believe that had Cook left things the way they were or perhaps put as has been mentioned eleswhere – Roberts for Jacobs, we would have won that game.
Unless my theory on Paul Cook is correct!
I for one dont think Lowe is sh1te. IMO he is another of our players who has found the step up from league 1 to the championship harder than he perhaps thought. But I do agree. He would be better suited to a wing.
My front 4 would be:
Moore (or Garner)
Windass behind
Lowe & Pilkington on the wings.
we are expected to do better than being a league one yo yo side.
On our way to the ground yesterday, another fan just happened to start talking to me. They said “The problem with most of our fans are that they still think we should be in the premier league. We are Wigan. And fans need to accept who we really are.” Perhaps they had a point. It was also their words. Regardless, I’ll still get my tin hat ready.
Nonsense. We had 8 years in the prem and won the cup. We should be swapping places with leicester
Would the league allow us to do that Egg?
If we were picking a team based on whether the f1ans liked them or not we’d be in serious trouble. In fairness Egg, we’re in serious trouble now.

I’m a Cook fan as I’ve said many times but when you have something that doesn’t work you try everything to fix it and then eventually you get a new one. I think we’re getting towards the stage where we get the new one.But who??
Yes we are all pissed off and frustrated, 93 minutes gone and we were out of the bottom 3,one minute later… You know the rest. I have tried to look at the positives recently, Naismith really solid as a centre back, Derby’s goal first we have conceded in over 3 hours play and safety is only 1 point away (21).I know it doesn’t seem much but keep the faith!
It takes guts and bravery to keep the faith after today, but thats what we do. Because we’re Tics.
But bloody hell I need some wine!!
I think I need more than wine.
For all these moaning bastards on here I never hear you at games. If you want Cook gone so much put together a demonstration for the next game you spineless gets. All bloody talk.Er! Bigroy. Didnt I post something similar the other day. I’ll see you in court as I’m suing you for plagiarism.
He’s not going anywhere, trust me. Point from safety, playing well, unbeaten in 4. Someone offers Dunkley for Jacobs on a corner I don’t see problem. Morsy lost his man. It’s concentration of players not Cook that we can’t hold lead. Desperately need a decent striker to finish chances created and we will be fine.I get what you are saying bigroy. But you never make a substitution before a set piece.
I haven’t been one to have a go at the management, but you NEVER make a substitution when you are defending a corner or free kick in your own box! This is basic management stuff, and it seems when the players do nothing wrong, the management have to make a mess instead!Totally agree! I said the same thing just before they had the corner. It creates an unbalance. The substitution should have been made after the corner when things would have settled down.
I also agree with bluelatic. Naismith was excellent.
To quote Mr Brownbill. Derby were there for the taking & were indeed a very average side.
It really is so frustrating.
