In all fairness I think one of the things personally for me which made the board a little less interesting was when Rivals shut down… without other teams to argue with certain people on here take it upon themsevles to bicker with their own fans…

GOMEZ IS ABSOLUTELT RUBBISH made a point of watching him last night. 1 tackle in the whole game Was trotting along the side of the Sunderland players and if I say trotting that was an exageration. Also EVERYONE can see that Jones is to slow to play in that postion, as is proved every game, so why does this clown keep playing him there???? I’m afraid i’ve got to the point, after watching them from the non league days, that although I’ve got a season ticket I’m seriously thinking of not going again, unless there are some drastic changes in the management i.e. MARTINEZ or his so called “Attractive style of football” :(Thought Jones playerd v.well last night.. Surely it is universally known that anything that Wigan (or a collection of other teams) do against “a big club” is due to the aforementioned big club having a bad day, poor performance, poor team selection, injuries (this is always referred to as an “injury crisis”), quagmire of a pitch, mid-week European game, behind the scenes issues or any one of a million reasons.

I think Gomez has been great recently and im a fully pledged rose tinted glasses wearing lightsider… However!
I thought there were a few panicked passes astray from Gomez last night something you can’t afford to do against top teams…
Putting those aside I thought he played well, Diame made some gud run’s McCarthy played well, Fig’s looked defensively solid :blink: and an overall good team performance!!!
