Why does he need to have done any of those things to have an opinion on a football forum?
He doesn’t but he’s implying that he is a coach. I’m just curious to know to what level and what experience.
I wouldn’t rate myself as a coach anywhere near them.So you do rate yourself as a coach then?
Do you have all the necessary badges?
Have you ever coached a football team?Ha ha. That lump from Wolves. World beater! Worse than Fortune. Maynard the previous year shite! Rather see our own youngsters.
Do you remember posting that donny lad.
Don’t argue with the coach/manager, they know far more than us.Yes they do. What part of that reasoning are you have difficulty with?
Strongest possible side out please Gary. Why would he not pick the strongest possible side?
And even if that side didn’t match up with your strongest possible side how do you know that wasn’t the strongest possible side available?
So Coyle was so bad he took Burnley to the Premier League. Did Malky not take Cardiff to the Premier League? Uwe took Brentford to a play off final and built the team up for Warburton. That is not a bad record for you not to rate Sam but you are entitled to your opinion like the rest of us.What are you blathering on about?
The point I was making is that as coaches they are “superior” to you. And that’s not an opinion it’s a fact, donny lad.In the right set up in this league a fit Grant Holt would bag a load of goals.
And I say he wouldn’t for the reason mentioned in my previous post.
The fact is neither of us know but the people who work with him every day do and they obviously don’t think he’s up to the job.
I would imagine the people that work with him every day realise he’s been injured for quite some time and realise he isn’t ready for much yet. Bit of a daft statement really.
I would imagine the people that work with him every day realise that no amount of rehabilitation will make him ready. Unfortunately time is not on his side. He was shite when he joined us and there is no way he will ever be good enough to play for us again.
Sammy knows you know. He believes in Coyle Rosler and McKay our super coaches. They certainly got it all right. Nice one Sammy. But if that’s your opinion you are entitled to it and who would anyone else be to criticise the opinion of a fellow fan.
I don’t believe Coyle, Rosler and Mackay are super coaches at all. What is demonstrable is that they are superior to you.

And you call me stupid with that empty beaded statement.
I think it is you doing the winding up.
He could do as good a job as any in a footballing line up but maybe you are right he may not at Latics if the manager plays those negative boring tactics he chooses. How do you know? And does your opinion trump that of the coaching staff?

Is this a wind-up or are you just terminally stupid but what makes you think that a 34 year-old crock who was injury prone and well past his best when he joined us and is now attempting to recover from a career threatening injury can do any kind of job for Wigan Athletic?
Well I reckon that if we still had Waghorn he would be our best option up front, on saying that it doesn’t mean he would get picked! Tavernier would walk into that right wingback position as well but they have both gone and so it’s all theoretical ! Despite who or where they ply their trade now I personally think that they would stand out as good players in League One and both of them are better than all who have replaced them here!
As a footnote, let’s not forget what division James McArthur and James McCarthy plied their trade in,a division that they stood out in with the latter turning out to be one of the best midfielders in the Prem! Both Wags and Tav are currently stand out players in that same division and I believe they will also stand out in the SPL. It’s all about utilising them and working on their strengths rather than having them sit on a bench week in week out or sending them packing on loan somewhere! More fool us I say but like I said, it’s all notional now so bollocks to it!Disagree totally there Phil.
I think both Davies and Grigg look much better players than Waghorn.
He was/is a decent player, and better than most of what we had last season, but Grigg is a very good striker for this level and in my opinion, Davies has looked streets ahead of any striker we’ve had since Kone.
Waghorn has scored 14 for Rangers this season and as great as that is, don’t forget 7 of them have been penalties, and 3 of his 7 goals from open play came against the might of Greenock Morton!
When Rangers lost to St Johnstone recently, quite a few Rangers fans commented that it had been a wake-up call for them with regards to how big the gap between SFL and SPL actually is, and Waghorn was kept extremely quiet by a mediocre SPL defence.
Tavernier on the other hand is totally different. All I’ve spoken to rate him highly and think he’ll be a big hit in the SPL.
I’m yet to be convinced about Grigg.
First impressions are that he’s a bit lightweight, loses the ball too much and doesn’t show much composure in front of goal. Runs about a lot though, which will always score him brownie points with fans. You win JR I can’t compete with your humour or how you use those smileys any more. I can’t take any more rag dolling from the Cockney Latic Mafia, Garswood, Egg and you :silly:Yeah right, keep pulling your own pud and those in the gang, anyone who can read knows what you are.
Don’t lock this thread by the way, this has legs and feat
Tell me Tez when you’re out and about and happen to engage someone in a conversation do you first check if they are carrying any sharp objects?
We win the FA Cup – moan it wasn’t given priority in the earlier rounds then moan because by giving it priority it relegated us, then moan because the man who oversaw that achievement left to try and better himself.
Hey up.one of the famous arsee lickers is playing the gangster. What up numbnuts truth hurt ya.Like many on here you confuse what you believe to be the truth with opinion, hearsay and downright lies.
