Boundary Park has its own microclimate
Barca’s UNICEF has been ditched in favour of Qatar Airways.
It now appears much smaller below the nubers on the back.Colchester beating Leeds was a big one and Sutton beating Coventry.
Remember the day Colchester beat Leeds we were at Fleetwood away. Someone stamped on Col Roughleys shiny Docs and nicked his scarf. Remember Col giving chase and retrieving his scarf.Hereford v Newcastle was a big shock too
The fact that the team have turned out regularly in recent seasons in shirts bearing the logos of betting companies didn’t seem to cause a problem.
Nor is the fact that every match on commercial TV has that obnoxious guy giving the odds for the next corner or whatever.
To be honest if you’re going to be persuaded to bet by an article on a supporters’ club website then really you aren’t fit to be let out alone in case you go and buy a house on impulse.
Interesting to see Fleetwood fans’ views on their chances
… and you thought we were pessimists

If mid-table obscurity is all we were seeking then maybe. But we aren’t.
It’s very early in the season – surely you haven’t given up already? He took one for the team and those that were there gave him a standing ovation as he went offAbsolutely correct. He did the one thing that saved a certain goal.
Bradley WigAns is deffo a latics man. Whether he likes it or not. There’s a hint in the name!!Could be Brad-LEIGH ;)
Enough. Enough.
Let’s have some debate about how we’ll do at Port Vale.
To be honest, except for the first season in the PL, there was no buzz for games against Liverpool, United et al. There was a resignation of expected defeat.
Against Crewe, Port Vale etc there is the hope of a win, and maybe even a good win. And that is more of a buzz for me.
I don’t know – I just think it’s insensitive to have a Dead Lion Day.
I think it says a lot about the state of Northern Irish international football
73 per cent made an arse of myself …. but did you have a few bits left over? ;)
Queen of the South 1 Rangers 5; Attendance: 5,858Sad times in Scotland. Of the 8,690 capacity, there are 3,377 seats. The “coo shed” on the east side of the ground was replaced by an all seater stand in 1995 and was named the East Stand. A challenge game was held in April 1995 to commemorate the opening of the new stand and Queens’ 75th anniversary against Rangers.
Nice ground, Palmerston Park. A good old-fashioned “Kop terrace” behind the goal.
… and they say we’re deluded.
Have a read of this:
http://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/Wigan-Athletic-1-Crewe-Alexandra-0-Steve-Davis/story-27700442-detail/story.html“The stats will say we probably had 60% possession” === Er, the stats show 53@ possession to Latics, 47% Crewe
“we controlled the game for large spells but just couldn’t find a way through and it’s difficult when they get back in their shape and men behind the ball” === from where I was sat Alex had 9 men across their penalty area most of the game
“we’ve dominated against a team who will be fighting to go up” === if that’s them dominating I’d hate to watch them when in trouble – I know they had us worried for a spell, but that is more about us knowing our failings of giving away a soft goal rather than them making chances
