I’m with cup winners on this one, OFC complete disaster, the team that was relegated from the prem was good enough to come straight back up, as Rossler proved that team could beat anybody on their day.
My Mum used to say ‘what you dream the opposite happens’Yeah I have had many a dream were I sleep with beautiful women.
“Where did it all go wrong” reminds me of the George Best tale were George had been gambling in a casino, drinking champagne all night and had managed to pull Miss Great Britain.
After winning several thousand pound he takes Miss Great Britain back to his room, decides to phone room service and orders some more bubbly. He throws several grand onto the bed, Miss GB strips off and lies down on top of the money and just before George joins her on the passion chariot there is a knock at the door. George opens the door to a young lad holding his ordered Champagne.
The lad seeing the naked Miss GB on a bed of money looks at a naked sizzled George and asks ” where did it all go wrong George”
Sub-consciously have you seen some article about that cross-code rugby challenge that Wigan played Bath in the 90s?No mutley I remember the Bath game, pretty sure it did nothing to trigger my dream, I have to say I was impressed with the rugby team being able to hold us to one each for 40 minutes, mind you they did have 2 extra players.
Couldn’t agree more Lostock, completely blown out of all proportion. Listen to the conversation it’s banter nothing more, these PC clowns can’t wait to be offended and don’t care if the man gets the sack just so they can have a rant.
What’s needed is to sign Jesus Seba
Sorry that should of read “sign Jesus” divine intervention is our only hope.
In the unlikely event that we look like selling out for a game next season I’m not sure how a ltd number of games ticket will work.
Strangely captivating, cheers papa.
Love your optimism but then the realism kicks in.Realism said we’d never win the FA cup, keep the faith Donny.
It probably been over for a while but until it’s mathematically impossibly.
Remember we are Wigan Athletic supporters, we are hard men, we fight while there’s still hope and we will not give up until that fat lardy arse wench starts belching out. Believe fellas, believe.
I may of had a couple to many this afternoon, I’m going to bed now.
It always makes me laugh when I hear people talk about Utd/Liverpool great supporters compared to ours, but it does not dawn on these people the 70’000 that attend OT every other week is not the same 70’000 from the previous time. It’s the reason the atmosphere is shit at OT, tourist supporters that only attend the odd game. I would be pretty certain Newcastle will have a proportion of tourist supporters but nothing compared to Utd/Liverpool.
We on the other hand are an hard core support. So what do you class as great supporters, masses of tourist’s getting behind a big fashionable club or an hard core that gets behind their local club.
And before any dickhead as a go about why I’m not on my way to Newcastle. Firstly I’ve come off working nights this morning and secondly I don’t like the view from the away end, too high up and too far away from the pitch.
What defines a ‘small’ club? What defines a ‘big’ club?erm…….size!
We’ve had red trim in the past and if memory serves me right didn’t the original tree and crown have red in it, I don’t the red trim at least the kit matches the seat colours.
Never had filmoss down as a glory hunter
Bickymon I’ve noticed all your posts are basically anti Whelan slagging off type posts, which begs the question. Why do you hate the man that saved our club, did you used to work for him or is it because he votes tory, I’m curious?
