“Staff gave us an old bottle of wine…” I thought wine was supposed to be old?
Like ‘Old’ hospitality to our opponents?
Hopefully the ‘new’ owners will treat our opponents with far better manners and respect.
It could have been handled better by the Administrators,
to show some respect to our staff instead of telling them off,
they have suffered enough this season. The Accy Chairman:
”Staff gave us an old bottle of wine and because I tweeted it,
the administrators took it off us and bollocked them.It wasn’t their fault they were being as friendly as they could under the circumstances”.
I’m reading this with disbelief,
I’m nearly 70 and i’m crying like a baby, with anger at how low these Bxxxxxd Admins
have sunk this Great Club of ours and treated our opponents with such disrespect. They know the price of everything and the value of nothing.
Congrats to the team on the brilliant win against all odds.
With all what’s going on off the field with the club,
it’s amazing they can concentrate on their game,
with all the flak they have had to put up with. The team has been thrown together, due to the crisis the club are in,
true, they have shown some inexperience at times, but any club would
struggle, if they had been in our shoes at present. The club is facing an uncertain future and so are the players,
feelings are running very high with some fans at present and
are falling out with one another. The Club surely needs some luck in finding the right owners very soon,
as we have been kicked from pillar to post in the last few months. The Spanish bidders may well have their faults,
but they were the FIRST to put their money on the table
and they have been funding the club.
They have been put through the Spanish Inquisition
by the EFL, who are ‘Faultless’ at this ‘fit and proper test’ lark.
Step forward the ‘SimCity’ bidder and any other bidders
and put your money on the table and let the EFL give you
a good ‘going over’ to see if you can beat the EFL at this
‘Snakes and Ladders’ game on who wins the Latics prize.
If the Spanish bid fails, who is going to step up to the plate and pay the bills for the
rest of the season and proof of funding us for the next 2 Seasons? The Spanish are not going away soon!
Wigan Athletic’s Spanish bidders say they are prepared to wait as long as it takes to get the green light – even if that means having to drag the club back up from League Two.https://www.wigantoday.net/sport/fo…-wigan-athletic-even-league-two-3056396?r=471
If the Spanish bid fails, who is going to pay all the bills/debts,
to stop us from being Liquidated? The sand of time is quickly running out for us,
if the Spanish bid fails are other bidders willing to be ground down by the EFL,
dragging it’s feet, before a decision is made?We don’t want another Choi owner, but we could be liquidated very soon.
We need a result pronto, we have had 8 replays, 8 extra times, we need a golden goal!
I remember the Football Pink, it had all the results and published soon after the games had
finished and see who we had drawn in the FA Cup.I think even the real fans, are feeling it the most,
the glory seekers are well gone.If the Spanish bid fails, all these bidders can put a wedge of money on the table and if they win
the bid, Latics have hit the-jackpot, with all these blokes just waiting to throw millions of £’s at us,as Del Boy would say ‘Lovely Jubbly’
If we don’t get a better and stronger squad in by the end of January,
Relegation is more or less a formality. -
