Season Tickets have arrived today.
Looking forward to us getting going!
Did you move over to the east stand vat?
Yes. Wanted a side view, rather than looking down the pitch as we did last season. Didn’t enjoy it at all last season. Had some idiot behind us with a big gob who kept quipping stuff like “don’t worry, we’ll get 5 second half” and laughing and joking all the time….
Not ideal when you are playing crap and your blood is already simmering. Another season with foghorn behind us, I’d have snapped. It was either him, or two old coots “statler and waldorf” who were also behind us. Glad to have moved to ‘top of East’ away from such imbeciles.
Bet they’ll be equally as chuffed
Don’t think we will Vat.
Well, if it transpires that we have something of a ‘fire sale’ on the eve of the season, or at the transfer deadline and end up losing the likes of Grigg, Powell, Burn, Morsy, I am deadly serious that I will be down to that ticket office demanding a refund on the season tickets we have bought in good faith, based on the squad we have. Sounds dramatic? Yeah I know, but if you are buying a Monet, you expect a Monet. Not an Andy Warhol!
Imagine if you purchased a car, a decent spec car with a certain high spec engine and certain tyres…say high spec Continental brand or something like that. Yet when you went to pick up the car and start using it, you noticed the tyres had been changed for cheap budget brands and the engine had been swapped for a 1.3 litre diesel. You’d say “what the feck?” And demand your money back, based on misrepresentation of sale. Wouldn’t you?
I SINCERELY hope the club proves you wrong (not being funny there) because I think that would be the absolute death of this club and I doubt I’d be alone in wanting a refund. I’m keen on seeing young players come through, but not by being shoved into the mire like that. Gradually.
I’d be very surprised if Paul Cook was happy to work like that. Power and Bogle…yeah I can sort of understand them going and being let go. But none of the players who will be almost certain starters.
Apples n oranges mate
Stayed in the East but bringing my little brother as well now
we have a 39 man squad according to the main site. get rid of 11 means 28 which id say is right. I think by wholesale changes he means the 14 in and 14 out we normally see.
Keep the best players and build round em.
good move
In defense of the goons (this will hurt) other pitches that share look pretty good and the pitch is always good at the end of there season. Id still make them homeless the first chance i got though
Cant see why anyone in the champ would want grigg
I thought the same
Committe advised him not sign them but he did anyway.
Sharp n Jackson support the manager.
How did he do that Stu?
He has the final say thats how. He can use the advice or not. Bobby did with boselli against jonny bemsons wishes

Playoffs
No way ready. Be reet when they next play.
RIP
Some Nobbers were calling for his head the previous season but came round to his way when he played regularly with twin strikers and adopted the old fashioned 4-4-2.
Thank goodness Trevor Hemmings didn’t give them much more financial backing or they could well have pushed for a promotion place.Comin from Preston it no wonder you love 442 and think its 1992. They all prob think that John Major just won the election.
You just said that horc? 1.5bn aint alot? Tell that to all the police and emergency servies fired off as we no money and then she finds 1.5bn to get in bed with some loons out GOT.
They all bent.
