Correct me if I’m wrong, but have they ever talked about major investment? From the snippets I’ve seen they have only ever talked about the youth system.
It would be funny for some of the more vocal fans on both sides to be sent a season ticket with the other teams crest on though. I’d love the social media meltdown from that one.
We shared the same crest back in the day.
Indeed.

would you stop 2 fans 1 Latics and 1 gypo from buying a joint season card?
Why would a St Helens fan want a Wigan season ticket?
Lol, seriously tho egg how would you stop say 2 mates who watch both teams and at present have 2 season cards one is a tic the other a worrier. They could just buy one and share it. Would it not actually have a negative effect on both sides attendances.
Well we average around the same number of home supporters anyway so I don’t think it would have too big an effect but you’re right. I guess the sticking point would be seat allocations because if you tried to buy one for example using your friends rugby seat it wouldn’t let you and vice versa, so unless people were willing to potentially lose their seats (which they could have with family and friends) it wouldn’t be viable.
I’m sure they would find a way to iron all that out though, but if I’m honest I don’t see it happening.

They don’t have to tell us anything. They will tell us what we need to know and when we need to know it.
All well and good being discounted but I wouldn’t want the same seat for both games.
Maybe he has told them that. Not everything is reported in the media and quite a lot of what is is tripe.
Yep, wouldn’t be too much of a difference but he is probably referring to the two clubs coming together which he has championed for a while.
As far as being skint goes:

Neither club is exactly rolling in it.
Is that true? I did hear he slagged us off in his book
Bound to be dnr
McCulloch wanted a move but at least he stayed and saw the season out.
I was always under the impression he handed it in after the semi’s at ArsenalNope https://www.theguardian.com/football/2006/may/08/newsstory.sport8
He handed it in after the league game didn’t he?
He did do, to be fair.
Spurs.
Depends how you measure bigger and better things, did he win a major trophy?
Won the League Cup yes although I think he was sent off in the final.
