I quite like the Donald from an entertainment point of view
Jamie did great but didn’t have one shot to save. The same leaky and usually all over the place backline looked well assured though.
Philip Schofield – hate the man
Trevor Brooking
Jeff Stelling
Andy Burnham
Anyone from or who supports St HelensTough one, but Reece James does seem to be Mr Consistent. We may as well just give him all the awards now. Has anyone actually ever outpaced him yet?
That’s football Egg, it’s not just a Latics thing. It is, but most of our fans are as fickle as they come.
There is always one who wants to spoil a great day. Have a rest Stu and enjoy it.
Just wondering why all the Cook out brigade are now thinking we are great again and being the worlds best fans.
I don’t think they are Stu, just pleased after a dreadful few months we played a little bit more like they were accustomed to Cook playing the game.
To be fair to Stu, before kick off twitter was full of everyone slagging the team selection off. Full time and they are all world beaters.
I thought after the Windass chance that it would be same old same old especially when we gifted Abraham that chance, but thankfully he missed.
Would have been very interesting had abraham took his chance from our mistake. Would it have dented our confidence again?
I think it would yes

Typical support from Villa. Excellent until it goes against them and then instantly turn. It’s the mentality of those that believe themselves to be a big club. Sadly some of our fans seem to have it too.
Anyway – a great win and a great performance to boot.
Plenty experience and a decent record at this level, but if he isn’t match fit then how long until we see him or is he another “impact” player?
He is also seen as a winger so I expect to see him in on the right or the left as opposed to leading the line.
Cant Macca already play that role egg
So everyone on here says yes

Sunderland WANTING Will Grigg and Sunderland GETTING Will Grigg are two totally different things. We are all aware of that aren’t we?
But if we do let him go will you be bothered? I’d like to see him stay personally as he is the best striker we have despite his recent lack of playing time? There’s 3 more weeks yet to bolster the squad so let’s just wait and see what unfurls!
Of course I will and a lot will depend on who we replace him with also. If we let Grigg go and only sign Pilkington then that is probably a bad move.

I expected to be in a relegation scrap this season and we may well be next season as well until we get the squad of players together we want and then again if a few get sold we could be back to square 1.
I think it’s 20 teams in this league have a bigger budget than we do.
