Already announced as Wednesday yesterday when the replays were confirmed.
He’s gone down VERY easily in my opinion. Why he hasn’t just had the shot in the first place I don’t know.
Having watched the highlights back though, how good were some of Christian Walton’s saves?????
That wouldnt be homophobic abuse would it vat?
After 8 years in the Prem, I doubt many see Bournemouth as a big draw regardless of them being in the Prem or not.
Evans wasn’t our player
Right oh great experts, and “club cant do no wrong” brigade, lets have this discussed. The deal has been in motion for months now. Our current situation is the Whelans have made it clear they wont put any money forward for transfers this window. The takeover and new owners are now said to only be in place AFTER the transfer window.
Why? Is it only me who is thinking something isnt quite right with all this? It seems they are either stalling or being held back from it going through. And either way, Whelans or new owners, there will be no money available. Why delay until then? To avoid having to put money forward? Thats an ominous start, then.
I await to be told there’s nothing to worry about and Whelan is as pure as Mary Poppins….
Why make it so its timed like that?
I would imagine it takes a while for these sorts of things to go through both with DW and the new owners ensuring the best deal for both parties and all the Football League checks that go on. While it isn’t ideal that their takeover won’t happen until after the window, I still don’t think we need to sell our best assets as we are in a strong position on the field.
Que sera sera I guess.
Not Colcloughs biggest fan but he has to be a better option than massey
Isnt St Helens in merseyside stu?
I wouldn’t say he is a passenger at all
He is in a lot of games.
And our leading goal scorer…!
Exactly. Always wants the ball as well.
Results that matter mate and they are picking them up week in week out.
And Kenny Dalglish should be knighted, also.
For being king of the great unwashed?
No. For helping soothe a great city in its darkest hour.
And for being a great footballer in his day.
Attended every one of the Hillsborough funerals. Not sure it will get him a knighthood though based on the government cover up of it all.
A win is all that matters and we did it whilst probably not being at our best.
Rest those carrying knocks, play those needing a run.
A win would be great but the Peterborough result is more important.
I wouldn’t say he is a passenger at all
There was one occasion in the second half when they rounded Walton and Elder (i think) cleared off the line. No other real chances of note.
We need our wide men to get down the flanks more when we play against this style as opposed to giving them the ball with players in front of them, they need to be dragging men wide and getting round the back like Gary Teale used to do.
