Far too early for sackings imo
he understands the position of our squad, pity some of our fans don’t yet. Some still won’t even if we win the league.
Progression well and trully shown. Lesson learned though for Gary. Don’t change a winning formation. Don’t revert back to a negative boring one up front. Go to win and play attacking football. Thank goodness Gary is learning though unlike his predecessors. He saw his mistake today and did the right thing and he pulled off an incredible comeback. Who knows we might change this slow build up from the back tactic next. Well done GC and Latics today
Start with two up top at Vale now please.Away from home I think we should start with 1 up top. The idea is to frustrate the opposition, silence the crowd and dictate the game. Then we can make the changes to win the game. Sides have to be flexible these days and not just 442 or whatever. Now that was a problem with some of the predecessors.
Don’t you think these modern day footballers are over analysed?Ice baths, super fit athletes, warm ups, warm downs…. but yet more than ever (so it seems) they seem to get injuries?
Too much lean & not enough fat
And yet most coaches/managers seem to let it pass them by that some players can’t pass a ball 5 yards to a player in the same coloured shirt.
Ok. So explain how DS saying he wants to win the league with 100 points is him saying that we will.
IIRC the only thing he has guaranteed is a 20 goal striker.
Your flogging a dead horse Egg, I’m sure its DFS.
Prefer The Sofa Company myself
Can’t understand the non use of Mckay. If he does go we will desperately need a striker even if it is only back up.

I’d like to have sexual relations with Jessica Ennis-Hill which I have said in public several times.
Doesn’t mean I will.
Egg, you’ve more chance with Harry Hill.
Nice of you to dodge the point of something you say you WANT to happen and something you say WILL happen though.

When I saw we’d signed this mon but not give Boyce a new deal, I was flabbergasted – I remember seeing him for Blackpool last year and he did a lot of huffing and puffing but never actually got the ball off anyone…Last night .. well … What a complete performonce, played like he was in his teens never mind a 30 odd year old, chased and harried, won the ball, if he can keep this up and injury free he will be one of the key players for us this year for sure.
Was a fan of him in all four games against us in the last two years to be honest.
Now I know the real reason you are ‘The Egg’As if I really watch that M62 corridor sport on a daily basis practically
Bloody rubbish Wigan
If it was as tedious/shit/cringeworthy as the what the rugby play then I’m glad I didn’t hear it.
I reserve my wind breaking in public for aeroplanes and busy lifts. It’s like an episode of Taggart, loads of victims only one killer :sick:A busy lift just as you get out is the dream.
I refuse to ever go to Gillingham again.Must be 10 years ago. Drove all the way down on a cold Tuesday afternoon/evening, 5hrs plus. Only to be told on the turnstile that the game had been called off.
:(
Anybody else do the same that night?
Went down on the supporters coach. Sat behind the driver and heard him talking to the team coach driver. Off the motorway, round the roundabout and back on.
No days holiday left for the return game but luckily I worked in the offices at JJB at the time and DW gave me a paid day off so I could go. :cheer:
