Looked a bit like a certain goal he scored for us.
When did he break his leg?
Mr whelan must be a member on here………:)
There are plenty of members on here but he most definitely isn’t one of them
And your the font of all knowledge on who is and who isn’t a member……knob
No he’s not. But I am, and he isn’t ;)
No matter what league we are in. No matter how bad things are on the football field at present, this will never ever be taken away from us & will forever be in the history books.Exactly my reasons for wanting to win the cup as opposed to staying in the Premier League.
I know this is a long shot but Wigan are around 80/1 to get promoted, it could be worth a tenner. It would certainly make your season more interesting if they went on a run. Last season Leicester and Burnley hardly dropped points but it’s not like that this season. Also call me thick but how do you quote someone when you want to reply to their point. I have tried on my iPad i click quote but nowt happens?

As a mate of muine said, why wouldn’t Whelan be interested in a bogoted, sexist, racist homophobic 1970s throwback? It’s a match made in heaven!! ;)You don’t have any mates.
We need someone with three attributes for me:
Strong personality within the dressing room to prevent the so-called player power that we have
Interested in youth – As GL has said that is how we survive and make our money.
Thrifty with cash – DW won’t be throwing millions at him so he has to make sure he spends it wisely and correctly.
Knowing how much DW loves a bit of media attention, how about hiring a female for the first time in English football

Just spotted reading back that he was missing.
I’ll be honest, I don’t think his signings have been that bad.
I’ll be honest. None of the names knocking around fill me with any confidence.

There are several on here who fancy the job. Here’s your chance.
Do we think Whelan has already someone lined up?Is that why he has bided his time since Friday?
I think he will have someone lined up otherwise he would have moved last weekend I think.
Could well be Mackay.
I think the sacking shows that he had lost the dressing room and there was no way back.
No doubt DW will have got something out of it also this will not be a problem as tickets for Charlton fans will have not been released yet.tis not as if we will have to travel to Widnes or Leyth to watch it
There aren’t many travelling to Wigan at the minute
Good reply though
We need continuity in the side. That simple for me. We need to pick a team and stick with it.
That won’t happen though so the XI that do play need to dig in and get us out the mess that ultimately THEIR performances have put us in.
Even if it isn’t true the twort is still a judas in my eyes. :angry:So now you’re not sure if it’s true or whether you made it up?
It could be true, I just don’t remember it being said as I would more than likely have been outraged as well.
may require a Martinesque change in the old stubbornness gene.I thought you said Dave Whelan got involved and won us the cup?
