He won’t tinker come playoff time.
He’ll know his best 11 and he’ll play it in each playoff game.
So it looks like only one team from Wigan will be on national TV this weekend then?
*puts on tin hat and runs off before missiles are thrown*
Aren’t the TV rights shared?
I think there’s only Philip Schofield and Ant n Dec who have been on TV more times than Leeds and QPR this year.
Really pisses me off – we’ve been on Sky twice this season. :angry:And played crap in them both.
Thought the Burnley game might be on.
No it’s for bitter folk who follow a sport that is becoming more and more insignificant every year.I see.
Maybe that is why their website isn’t working?
Looking at those two videos it’s amazing how many players/coaches don’t know the rules.
You can understand their frustration at it but surely if you know that that’s the rule you have nothing to argue about.
It’s a stupid call from the RFL though I think.
There will be plenty of empty seats at the Etihad
Hull FC V KR happens at least 3 times a season…Hull City in the FA Cup final is probably a once in a lifetime event (and that’s for very old people)….
Exactly.
why don’t you lot beggar off to the worriers.com site to discuss egg chasing, or see how they react if you start discussing latics on that site.
I got “page not found” when I tried worriers.com. Is that a site for people who panic a lot?

The only bit of good news I could grasp from Saturday was that I now get to watch Wigan v Leeds.
Both Al Habsi and Carson save numerous penalties during a game but it doesn’t mean they’ll save them in a shootout.
I don’t think I ever saw Roy Carroll concede a penalty outside a shootout. Similarly I never saw him save one in a shootout.
Spot on (no pun intended) – was it the 98/99 or 99/00 season where I think Carroll saved every penalty taken against him during the course of a game. And there were quite a few. And then in a penalty shoot out in the FA Cup replay against Notts County he never saved one??
Like I said there was virtually no difference between Carson & Fabianski’s diving technique on Saturday. Ultimately the difference was that one of em got lucky twice & guessed the same way as the kicker
Last season at Springy. I still think the ball is in orbit from Jorg Smeet’s penalty.
From the Super League website:
Super League began in 1996, replacing the RFL Championship and switching from a winter to a summer season. Each team plays 27 games between February and September: 13 home games, 13 away games and a Magic Weekend game at a neutral venue. At the end of the season, the top eight teams enter play-offs leading to the Grand Final which determines the champions.

The winners of the World Cup are the Champions of the World as that is the main prize. They are not the World Cup Champions though.
The winners of the Champions League (or European Cup) are the winners of the biggest prize in Europe and as such are the European Champions. They are not the European Cup Champions or Champions League Champions though.
Wigan rugby are the Super League Champions or Grand Final winners. They are not the Grand Final Champions.
What are we actually the Champions of? The Football Association perhaps? No. England? Of course not. We cannot be Champions of a cup. We can be Champions of a league/country/continent but not a cup. We are the winners of the cup.
