Too slow to beat a man. Doesn’t track back. Doesn’t ‘put a foot in’.
Other than that he’s a great player.
Studs up though fil and then straight into the knee and down the leg.
I don’t think anyone is saying the Callum tackle was ok but the reaction is the annoying thing. The worst tackle ever? Not even close. Then you get comments from Pardew and the like about an injury hell and how Wigan haven’t apologised etc. Reverse the role and we’d have heard no more about it imo.
EDIT – Someone has now compared it to the Keane challenge on Alfie Haaland :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
If, God forbid, we lose against Millwall, I will have no sympathy whatsoever for anyone who has chosen not to go the semi because they are saving themselves for Wembley – whatever the reason.Very harsh of you Mr Griff
May have been a different reaction from Liverpool if they had lost that match.
According to an LFC fan
“Give it up it wasn’t even close to Mcmanaman’s challenge and I’m an LFC fan.
One of the worst I’ve seen, if not thee worst.”
I usually get quite annoyed at the constant crap that’s spouted about us, but the only reason they do it is because they’re hoping and praying we get relegated every season and then never do. Rather than compliment us they find the slightest thing to ridicule us about. Crowds being the easy cheap shot of course. The likes of Marsh will be first in the que to say “i told you so” when we eventually do go down even though he’s already 7 years late at the least.
We should take it as a back handed compliment really.
Has Westwood had any death threats yet?
I’ve just been accused of being ‘a plagiarist’! Their words, not mine.:)
I might write a book about it ! It would have to be called FANNIED ! ;)It’ll probably be better than Griffs effort
I think we’ll go 1 per st holder and then sell to those with sf tickets.
It’s the best we’re going to get I think. It mentions that we survive on a low budget and it’s admirable but it also says that the only reason QPR get smaller crowds is the size of their ground. Probably true but absolutely no need to mention it.
What it should say is that if clubs like Derby, Leeds and the Sheffield clubs built for the future as opposed to opting for the quick fix then maybe they’d be in our position now.
It was me who re-opened them.
If you want to have a go at them then feel free but do it on this board not the football board. Simple as that really.
EDIT – I have no problem with people who want to have a go at the rugby and vice versa. I far from spit my dummy as it’s something I’ve had all my life. The recent ‘chubby baiting’ seems to be at an all time high which considering where we are at the moment seems strange although understandable from some.
There have been several posters who have commented recently (including new ones) that this site seems to be all arguments and rugby threads. That isn’t how it should be and since weekend it hasn’t been.
If you want to post about rugby then post it on this board and leave the football board for football. We certainly have enough to be talking about.
I don’t care how many we sell tbh as long as we win. As we’ve said time and time again to the likes of Newcastle fans who have a go at our crowds………..fans don’t make prizes.
By the way, me and Jeff will be in Austin when the Spurs game is scheduled ! :cheer:
You mention that Texas trip more than I mention my books ;)[/quote]
No chance
Under – David Lee
Over – Paul RogersJust rang ticket office for extra tickets for Wembley.
Reply where would you like to sit take your pick :ohmy:Why when we are 90 mins away from Europe have we not at least nearly sold out embarassed by our support sometimes.
Arr well will just have to shout and sing louder
Come on lads get behind the team and get your tickets
We don’t have 32000 fans?
