We went in the Golden Lion…. £11.85 for 2 Pints lager, two bottles of stella, a coke and two packets of crisp…. think I got away with something there, but if that is their normal rates, I’m moving.
As Jay knows I was also in the Golden Lion. Great little pub – and those prices are accurate.
The price was the same minus the coke and the crisps though lol
I would definitely like to see Golobart given a go.
Luton, MK Franchise or Barnsley at home please
The final should be the only game at Wembley.
Not really. I knew you’d sold all your tickets a long time back. Well done on avoiding the potential banana skin, and I hope you get a good draw in the next round. Now, Geography wasnt my strongest subject at school, but I’m sure Stoke is of a similar distance – whats the chances of 2300 travelling fans being there on Tuesday night?
I’ll be there
Just moaned about the cr@p weather we have in this country. If its not lobbing down its freezing or snowing and even worse when my son rang at 7pm to say how hot it is for him in Tenerife at the moment.
Macc look like they have had a good go at getting it on( boxing speak)but i fear the worst to be honest.
Look on the bright side at least we will be in the fifth round draw.
When did that last happen?2 years ago when we drew at Bowtun in round 4.
Typo very early on ! Sloppy, go to the bottom of the class !
Got to the bottom of paragraph 2 and didn’t spot one. Then again, I have my early morniong eyes in. How early on was it, exactly?
I couldn’t spot one either
Update from the beeb
Today
A frosty and icy, but probably fairly bright start. Clouding over during the morning, with rain quickly turning to snow inland and over high ground. Some significant falls are likely, particularly over the Pennines and Lake District Fells.
Tonight
Sleet and snow clearing eastwards, with showers following on. Most of these showers should be of rain, but still cold enough icy stretches to develop. Very windy in the north.
Saturday
A windy day with a mixture of sunny spells and showers, these most frequent during the morning across Cumbria and Lancashire. Less cold than recent days.
Looks like he will pull through (thanks Mitty)

That’s quite funny for Mitty ;)
The summary from the beeb for today and tomorrow:
Today
A dry, brighter day after any isolated freezing fog patches clear. Some sunny spells may develop, especially in the west. Remaining cold despite the sunshine.
Tonight
Soon turning very cold with ice and frost, locally severe under clear skies. Perhaps a little more cloud across the north later as winds increase.
Friday
A dry, cold start with some brightness. Increasing cloud will bring a spell of snow later, turning increasingly to sleet and rain with some heavy bursts. Becoming windy.
I think the amount of snow fall will be the big one and whether the sleet then turns to ice around the ground.
Kicks the ball imo
One thing you can guarantee is that when DW decides to sell up or pass the club down to someone it will be in a damn good state off the field. We may get relegated this year but it won’t cripple us financially as it has done teams before us and our facilities will be top notch.
If we did take him on loan then we would definitely have to send Miyaichi backIs he still here?
Hundreds of people have now come forward alleging Hazard assaulted them when they were boysgoodpost
snipThanks for the info.
We haven’t booked yet (hoping to do so in next fortnight) and have been looking at staying around the Times Square area.
There’s so much we want to see that I doubt we’ll do it all in 4 days especially if most places are shut on Thanksgiving but we’ll probably use that day to walk around Central Park and the like after the parade.
