Well Cooks the man for League One. Well he was last side when he inherited a decent squad for that league. May not be quite as easy next time.
Well this squad has some top league one players. Sadly most can’t make the step up to the championship.
You kept telling us that we would get relegated last season and that we were crap. We were never in the bottom 3. So was the league table lying? As soon as we dropped into it this season the whole “the league table doesn’t lie” line gets shoved about.
Of course our results are poor hence why we’re bottom of the league, but our performances are better than those attributed to a side who are bottom. You knew what I was referring to of course but wanted to post our away stats again as though nobody else is actually aware of them. Funny how last season our home stats were never talked about until we lost a couple of games this season.
Of course I want us to stay up, what sort of statement is that?? You talk about financial implications but then want us to sack a manager with a big payout and bring in a manager who will demand a massive salary probably 2 or 3 times the size of Cooks.
The absolute hypocrisy is what I love about talking sport with wiganers.
Now we are in the bottom 3 the league table doesn’t lie. Last season we were out the bottom 3 ALL season but yet we were apparently doomed. Was the table lying then? Were we in a false position? If so, then why are we not now? Pretty much every media outlet in the country believes we are better than our league position.
At the end of the window our squad was supposedly an improvement on last years and we had done great business. Now they’re all shite.
We all have differing opinions of course, but there is plenty of story shuffling going on when it suits.

Does anyone praise his subs if we hang on seeing as one of them scored? No, probably not.I said on monday that our final ball and shooting accuracy is dreadful. Today underlined it.

At this stage, would they actually know that? They would possibly know he had been sacked first, but wouldn’t think they would know about a meeting.
Windass was bossing the Derby defence and running them ragged. It’s hard to work out why he was taken off. Ok his finishing and final ball wasnt the finest but he was certainly an hand full for Derby. Why not leave him on and take off Lowe or Jacobs. Surely then with him and Garner on we could have been pushing the scoreline up a bit.
Derby were there for the taking but dear oh dear that was a disappointment against such a poor side.Agree. I think yet again that both changes were made from the old GPS on the laptop again as opposed to actually watching the game.
