I haven’t been one to have a go at the management, but you NEVER make a substitution when you are defending a corner or free kick in your own box! This is basic management stuff, and it seems when the players do nothing wrong, the management have to make a mess instead!

The absolute panic at that corner has come from months and months of us pissing away a lead but today we should have been 4 or 5 up if we had anybody capable of shooting. Every shot we put on target is straight at the keeper, and our final ball is dreadful.

He actually spent 8.5 million on players with 3.5 recouped for Grigg so 5 million in total. Biggest earner Powell went and one of best young players in country James went back to Chelsea. Such a shame because Blackburn stunk.A negative lineup? We had 4 attacking players and created a pot load of chances we’re just not good enough at taking them. It wasn’t even remotely close to a Joyce style lineup or gameplan.
That comes from the position we’re in and the run we’re on I think. Confidence is high at Blackburn and they make attacking changes expecting to win it. Similar to Liverpool at the minute with the amount of late goals they’ve bagged.
We’re expecting someone to fall over their own shoelace and stick it in our goal with their backside. It gets to a stage where we’re almost afraid to do anything I think other than protect what we have. If we go attacking and lose he gets slated for it, if we protect what we have he gets slated for it.

Thought we were far and away the better side but as you’ve both touched on, we have no cutting edge. Would have summed our season up for that Holtby chance to go in from a corner that wasn’t.
