It’s only to be expected really. Apart from a couple of exceptions I would say 6000 season tickets to be one of the highest in the division. According to a Coventry website they’ve sold 3200.
So bookmarking something to drag up nearly 6 months time isn’t obsessive? Dragging up one last year that was 12 months old isn’t obsessive? Hovering around the forum of a club you don’t support isn’t obsessive? Calculating percentages of attendance reductions for cup matches isn’t obsessive? If these things are not obsessive then they are just downright weird. Why are you so bothered?
You can come on here as much as you want to claim that the rugby is bigger than Latics but the reality is that, even in the 3rd tier of English football, week in week out, home and away, Latics will still be a better supported club.

Why are we more deserving than the supporters of any other club. Every club has it’s ups and downs. It’s the way the sport is. It’s the way the world is. We aren’t exempt.
I remember DW being constantly slagged off for not keeping his trap shut and now it seems his successor is being questioned for doing just that. It beggars belief. What do you want him to say exactly?

As somebody has pointed out on another site didn’t Swansea appoint a former player with no managerial experience? Twice. And Martinez and Monk haven’t done bad for themselves. The problem with experienced managers willing and able to take us on is that they are experienced in failure. I’m pleased with this appointment. Young keen and full of fresh ideas. And probably not a table tennis table in sight.
