Middlesborough were totally outclassed on Monday and he hardly set the world alight against a very very good Norwich side.
At least we now know what his intentions are and so I say get rid if we can and bring in a good young player in the mould of an Ellington or Roberts that would be fine if not then a youth team player would do for me over him any day of the week.
BTW that impression of Dyche was brilliant – I doubt we will have any takers.Would rather see a new pitch, decent investment in the team, a long term plan regarding a youth policy and a strategy for when the parachute money dries up.
I have seen the statues for past legendary players like Dixie Dean and Tom Finney and rightfully so as they are both probably in the top ten all time players list but a football chairman?Get rid of the black trim and you have a decent design there.
Blackpool, Fleetwood, Rochdale, Oldham and Bury for derbies next year. Strewth, is that how for we have fallen. Just can’t believe it!
Out of that lot, are Bury now your big local Derby?[/quote]
at least we can laugh at things which is more than your soft bastar ding bunch can do leaving at half time every week when a goal is conceded.
Can only guess how many managers Blunderland will get through next season.I liked him and wish him well .
To be honest I’m not sure that ground would have coped to visits from bigger clubs who now frequent the conference and also the big issue of whether to go full time or not.
the local OB would have had their hands full dealing with some of the unruly elements that would have showed up to that village like town of theirs had they reached the conference .Rochdull – brilliant!!!!
will have to think up a few more for this division!
Not depressed any more but tired of celebrating failure, watched that preston game yesterday and it was dreadful.A few years ago ,2010 to be precise I was lucky enough to be in New York and sat nicely in a bar chewing the fat to some American Latics fans who knew all about the club.
This was due to our worldwide profile at the time by being in the top flight.
When you have achieved that level of profile it is very difficult to get excited about fleet wood and burton at home and I cannot understand the mentality of people who think it is acceptable for a club with a huge turnover to get relegated so quickly.
It took 8 years to get out of the lower divisions last time and may take a lot longer now!
Far harder to take when you have eaten at the top table and it could have been avoided so easily.Tez H -if we have 10000 young supporters who are going to stick with things through thick and thin then the future should be a very bright one.
However a knawing feeling keeps coming back that we are all being short changed and that messages on here along the lines of ” it will be great going to Oldham and Rochdale” mean we could easily be saying the same things next year along the lines of
” it will be great going to Accrington and Morecambe ” after another season of hell.
Im sorry but unless there are radical changes then we could be very easily in the same boat next year.
with people coming out with this sort of line do you honestly feel any changes will occur that we all know need to if the club is to recover and move on from this.
Beyond that is anyones guess but you only need to look at the graveyard called the conference which is full of former football league clubs.
I admire the positivity and energy of our superb young supporters and their loyalty is lump in the throat stuff if im honest.
We deserve better ,much better and that is what hurts the most!!!Ye lets all go out and have a party at the thought of playing Rochdale on a filthy November night.
Bitch slaps to anyone celebrating this debacle of a season, I’m ashamed end of !!!!!!!I’m sorry but playing the likes of some of these doesn’t inspire me one iota and the thought of playing Southend on a wet Tuesday fills me with dread.
All this “it’s going to be great bollocks” does my head in and proves we have a small minded outlook.
We have just been effing relegated halfway in receipt of parachute payments to the third division after fighting our way up in the nineties.
I don’t think the reality of this situation has sunk in yet and maybe it’s because the vast proportion of our supporters never experienced this league back then. It’s death on every level with disheveled clubs in backwaters and trips to these places are grim believe me!
The anger I feel today is unbelievable , we could and should still be in the second division , how the hell did it come to this???Positive post but heard the same thing when we were relegated from the prem two years back and also the same last season so I’m certainly not buying this time round.
Funny how the email message from little Dave had a banner promoting season tickets from next Tuesday which says it all and it will take a lot more than that for more people to be convinced.
I only feel one emotion today and that is anger at something that could easily been avoided,FFS a micro club and I mean micro club like Bournemouth have acheived premier status with very little money and we couldn’t even consolidate our position in the championship and we have far more money than them!!!
I love the club and i will be there next season but they have to show more than a few choice words and I am far from convinced that we will see anything different next year.
I am very interested to see what the ST prices will be also .Some consolation last night that Blunderland fan’s jaws hit the floor far and wide on hearing Dull had beaten thieverpool 1-0.
Nothing we didn’t expect , at least young david is doing the pitch up and we should not in any way lay any blame on him.
At least blunder land fans will be very pissed off at dull city beating Liverpool , some consolation in that -
