Bad season yes but nowhere near as bad a this season and 7 months (almost) without a home win-FFS ???????????????
This is the worst ever season since we came into the football league simple as that!
      Blame lies with one person!

Just read the Rugby post and they have a relegation pull out???????
incredible and it is full of sound bites like this.
Don’t forget they have tickets to sell at £20 a chuck so our dressed like a car salesman Manager has to come out with stuff like this to make sure a few are sold.
he can hardly say ” it’s over,we are f***ed ” at this stage can he?

Not much more you can say other than expect to see empty seats here there and everywhere.
the TVs companies won’t like that, praying that Brentford and Bournemouth get up this year, that will piss them all off!

Only ever 5 winners of it since it started in 1992 ,23 years ago!
Chelsea,Man utd,Man City ,Blackburn and Arsenal

In the 23 years prior to 1992 we had 7 different champions Leeds,Arsenal,Liverpool,Everton,Aston Villa,Nottingham Forest, Derby County .
Not many more I grant you but check out some of the unfashionable names like Forest and Derby and also remember Forest won it straight after a promotion in 1977-78 season.
it is overrated for sure but interesting especially when a struggling club like Burnley turns over a team like City and it would be nice to see little clubs like Bournemouth and Brentford get up there next season although the TV bosses would hardly relish paying 10 million a game to screen those two would they?

It was good policing they stopped them near the fence so they couldn’t go anywhere however I’m sure the club will pick up the tab because the policing was on the stadiums land.
                what alternative did they have?
Let them freely move into the home supporters so they could bully and intimidate and then cause a massive crush as the innocents tried to move away.
Very sad that people behave in this manner.

Had to laugh at the teenagers all decked out in hooligan gear ,plent of Tachini, fila and stone island on show.I thought I was back in the 80s.
rather worrying trend developing though and something football needs to keep an eye on because there seems to be a very large unruly element developing with the younger supporters. We have our own imbeciles but the away numbers coming towards the bridge were very large so a major incident was avoided.Another thing I cannot stand these days is the way these little Tweenies mouth off as they walk to the game to try and provoke opposing supporters “Whelan break your leg” and ” go and @@@@ your sister” are sure fire ways to get filled in but they don’t seem to care which is alarming.
I don’t remember as much vitriol when we played each other in the premier league so maybe it is jealousy because we stuck a major pot on the sideboard something they haven’t done for nearly 50 years.
I thought GMP handled the situation very well.

We should not fear Bolton in anyway, they haven’t won away for 2 months

                    That’s about to end then!

With no home games won over the entire winter I think the wiganers have been superb. Contrast that with the toy throwers up at blunder land whose team had a bad game against an inform team and preceded to leave the ground at half time!
Not seen that at wigan and I think the crowd have been very patient .

with only 2 goals scored at home since the turn of the year I cannot see anything other than another defeat although the usual huff and puff will be there I’m sure.
Team selection is awful with misfiring so called strikers being selected every week and I can see no end to the poor home form.
We haven’t enough pace or quality to hurt teams in front of goal and we give the ball away on that joke of a football pitch.
First rule as a football club – spend money on the pitch so the team can play on it!

Blunder land are a joke football club with deluded fans. I hear they are building a giant cot outside that ground with toys to throw out of it for soft arses like that grey haired old get near the dug out getting upset because his crap team had the audacity to concede some goals!!!
Wonder who the next temporary manager will be ?

I like old fashioned club songs like ‘ marching on together’ Leeds and Millwalls ‘ Let em come’ .
both these songs are played prior to kick off so why not play ‘come on you Latics ‘ prior to the home games, the soul music is a bit boring now.

lots of endeavour and effort but it boils down to the same thing – the team isn’t good enough for this level and hasn’t enough quality or character to turn this around.
can’t see much changing next season either so we could well be back where we started in double quick time.
A patched up sticking plaster mess of a football club and such a shame and a waste!
                                No more to be said!!

We were here last week and the week before that, until we break the home curse it’s just a friendly away win.
