Had to laugh at the teenagers all decked out in hooligan gear ,plent of Tachini,fila and stone island on show.I thought I was back in the 80s.
rather worrying trend developing though and something football needs to keep an eye on because there seems to be a very large unruly element developing with the younger supporters.We have our own imbeciles but the away numbers coming towards the bridge were very large so a major incident was avoided.Another thing I cannot stand these days is the way these little Tweenies mouth off as they walk to the game to try and provoke opposing supporters “Whelan break your leg” and ” go and @@@@ your sister” are sure fire ways to get filled in but they don’t seem to care which is alarming.
I don’t remember as much vitriol when we played each other in the premier league so maybe it is jealousy because we stuck a major pot on the sideboard something they haven’t done for nearly 50 years.
I thought GMP handled the situation very well.With no home games won over the entire winter I think the wiganers have been superb. Contrast that with the toy throwers up at blunder land whose team had a bad game against an inform team and preceded to leave the ground at half time!
Not seen that at wigan and I think the crowd have been very patient .with only 2 goals scored at home since the turn of the year I cannot see anything other than another defeat although the usual huff and puff will be there I’m sure.
Team selection is awful with misfiring so called strikers being selected every week and I can see no end to the poor home form.
We haven’t enough pace or quality to hurt teams in front of goal and we give the ball away on that joke of a football pitch.
First rule as a football club – spend money on the pitch so the team can play on it!Blunder land are a joke football club with deluded fans. I like old fashioned club songs like ‘ marching on together’ Leeds and Millwalls ‘ Let em come’ .
both these songs are played prior to kick off so why not play ‘come on you Latics ‘ prior to the home games,the soul music is a bit boring now.lots of endeavour and effort but it boils down to the same thing – the team isn’t good enough for this level and hasn’t enough quality or character to turn this around.
can’t see much changing next season either so we could well be back where we started in double quick time.

No more to be said!!We were here last week and the week before that, until we break the home curse it’s just a friendly away win.
i detect a satirical tone here so my player of the season would be the guy who plays the drum in ES2.
I cannot think of one player who deserves that title and i really mean that!I love this fanzine and the articles are always top notch from Jimmy and Les and Tony to name just 3 but all the articles are very good.
Effort was 9 out of 10 but quality was 1 out of 10 and the situation now is much worse and almost an impossible one.
Our team last season would have stuck three or four past that very poor Leeds side and despite their supporters arrogance they are light years away from the big time.Win the game at home on Saturday and I will be in a very different mood on Monday and might just start to believe. A defeat on Saturday and it’s hopeless so we HAVE to break this dreadful home form this Saturday. A win on Saturday and we face Rotherham at their place the following week and even I might start to believe again.First thing little Dave should do is get that training ground at Chorley sorted out and then get a decent youth policy set up with a 10 year plan to bring through our own talent,we have to do this as soon as possible.
Steady the ship in league one and get a scouting system set up around the country and use the remaining premier league money wisely to keep the club afloat but the future is anything but bright with Big Dave’s departure and the heady days of 2006-2013 seem A distant memory now.

The home form is bad because the home team has to go out and attack the away team but with a dreadful defence we are easy pickings and so easy to play against,blimey we made Rotherham United look like worldbeaters and there have been many more since picking up a simple three points.Cardiff didn’t get out of first gear last week but still won their easiest threepoints this season.
no doubt the JCL/fairweather queue will be back outside the East stand on Saturday as it usually is after a rare win but I have taken absolutely nothing from that result on Saturday as we beat the only team worse than us.
if we beat norwich on Wednesday and then follow it up with a win against leeds on Saturday then I might be posting something different next Monday night but I’m expecting a mullering on Wednesday and another feeble home defeat on Saturday by a resurgent Leeds.
Really sorry to be negative but all the hope I had has long gone and I’m just hoping the rot can be stopped in league 1 next season but without any investment this club will sink even further and I like many others am extremely concerned about the future.
for some strange reason I have a feeling we will end the home drought against our enemies from Horwich on March 21st but. I’m sorry this season is finished as far as I’m concerned,too. Too Much to do and not enough quality to do it!
