I just turn up to the home games with a bit of hope that things will turn and we will see a glorious victory and a hatful of goals.
it’s been hard this season but I say to the folk who have stuck with it through these tough times you have proved you are a true supporter of the club and I reckon we have at least 10,000 diehards who will turn up regardless of the division.
The other 6000 tossers who have deserted I say go @@@@ yourself !!!And it made the headlines on news at Ten…. Obviously the 12month extension Liverpool offered him didn’t pay him as much as the states will. Very good player but amazed at the hype around his decision.Slow news day thats all that was ,no slimy MPs in work till mid January.
free weekend at the end of January
That is if Ipswich beat the saints tomorrow that is[/quote]
the FA cup 4th round is on 24th january
We play Huddersfield at homeTalking about our friends from over the hill they were very crafty in my opinion when they built that spiders web on the edges of our town ( closer to the centre of Wigan than their own town)and you can see from all the cars all lined up when they play at home the impact that had.
I have no beef with the Wiganers concerned however I know of a Wiganer who who has a sign with Burnden Park on his back gate and his home was very near one of our livelier public houses after home games.
A brave ladThe so called ‘fans’ who decided on a whim to attend Tuesday’s game and then got stuck outside – TOUGH!
they only had a couple of weeks to get a bloody ticket and decided at the last minute to turn up only because they were sick of watching reruns of ‘Holiday on the Buses ‘ and ‘ Carry on Regardless’ .
a little mental list is being made of all the part time tossers who have deserted the club when things have cut up rough and I expect to see them back in a few weeks when the recovery in form begins.
As for PNE it sounds like a marketing company blip that happens from time to time, doubt there will be any takers.Poor game, two very poor teams however despite the thicko I thought we looked better organised and I thought we deserved a point at least.
Our goal wasn’t off side either- just need to keep hoping at least the window is nearly open and we can wave by by to some of the deadwood. No sympathy whatsoever with these ‘ part time ‘ supporters they had plenty of time to purchase the ridiculously low priced tickets that were even cheaper than the season ticket per game price.
Total stupidity by these people ,they no doubt wanted to climb back on the dreadful misfiring band wagon after they heard the Leeds result but to roll up at the last minute at a club with few working staff defies belief.
No doubt some of the 5000 that have deserted the club since we were relegated .
hope you all froze your nackers off!!!!if they can get that for him it’s very good business indeed.
there is some you tube footage of him bollocking his Notts county team and it makes your hair stand on end as it is all about the supporters and how the players have let them down.
One of my favourites ,great CV for promotions and seems to undergo a complete personality change when a game kicks off but he gives 100 per cent and doesn’t stand any nonsense.
I like the way he interviews after a game with his big smile and chuckle even though during a game he looks has a face like thunder and he always sails close to the wind during his post match interviews.
He will be back of that there is no doubt.the futures bright then
Some of Mackays comments this week to the press have been very welcome and long overdue.
january is a crucial month for him and the club as if we continue this slide then I cannot see us getting out of it – a win at Leeds is a must .can see an upturn and maybe just maybe it will come at Leeds but he needs to change tactics and clear out the dissenters in the ranks as soon as possible.
Surely it can’t get any worse can it?Jewell inherited a mess similar to the one we have now with an oversized mercenary type bunch who spat in his face metaphorically speaking until he weeded the rubbish out and went on to success we not see again for many years.
the three managers all contributed massively to our recent history however it was Paul Jewell who got us two promotions in three years to take us to the big time where we went on to have 8 seasons and appearances in two big cup finals,Europe and a major trophy to boot.
for that golden period ( 2002- 2006 ) he gets the gong for me although I’m sure some would disagree.greedy n more to be said
